Juicy Couture Patent Leather Lovely Bag
Juicy Couture Patent Leather Lovely Bag

You all know I have not been a huge fan of Juicy Couture Bags in the past. I will even admit that I was a bit harsh. You see, their bags appealed to me when they first came out. I was in high school still and they were perfect for what I needed. But about six months later I needed more and I did not find that in the Juicy Bags. While their bags appeal to a younger crowd, I finally found a bag from Juicy that will appeal to a larger group. The shape, size, and look of the Juicy Couture Patent Leather Lovely Bag really brings Juicy to a new level in the handbag world. The shape is clever and easy to dress up if you are older or have fun with if you are younger. The color is called angel, it is like a slight beige hue mixed with white, which is perfect for this spring and summer. The patent leather is offset with suede and woven canvas trim and contrast topstitching. The other reason I like this bag is it is simple. Juicy Couture is known for their charms and extra add-ons, but sometimes we just want simple. This is an incredibly clean look for the brand and I would venture to say most looking at the bag would not even realize this was Juicy Couture. Dimensions are 12.5"x 12.25"x 6". Buy through eLuxury for $350.

Definitely a step in the right direction for Juicy, as I think their purses are cheapened by all the charms and excessively "cutsie" add-ons. I like the design of this bag and its color, but for some reason, can't get past the fact that it's Juicy. Strange, because I really like their non-branded merchandise like dresses and shirts.

A decent bag for Juicy (The "flower fairy" bag will forever b in the back of my mind when I see the name of this brad LOL). But, it still has a way to go before it's a nice, classy and alltogether great bag.

I generally do not like the Juicy range - but this bag is not too bad. Perhaps because it does not have the usual bling bling plastered all over it. I think you are right Megs when you say you would not even know it is Juicy... lol perhaps that is why I do not mind it. I think the gold charms are enough for this bag and I must admit I love the colour. Not sure that I would carry it, but I can see its appeal to younger ladies............

I love handbags and I try not to judge a bag by it's name, but it's hard for me to NOT do that with Juicy.

LV's, Gucci, and Juicy bug the hell out of me with their self promotion. I have seen a few cute Juicy purses, but the fact that 85% of their bags are ugly and an embarrassment take away from the few good ones they do have. I'd rather buy a Hayden-Harnett, or Botkier, or Bulga, or Rebecca Minkoff then waste it on Juicy, LV or Gucci.

Sorry for those that love the companys I've named off. I can't get over bags that have designer names written all over them. A good beautiful handbag should be judged by it's material, shape, and usability not it's designer name.

eh. this bag is better than their other ones but its still not worth it. i dont see the point in getting a juicy bag. its not something youll be sporting 10 or even just like 5 years from now.
