Default Juicy Couture ESG Beach Colony Tote

Juicy Couture ESG Beach Colony Tote

The only reason I will cut this bag some slack is because it is clearly a beach bag. I may sound totally hypocritical or just plain stupid, but I hate the look of plastic for a bag. Yes, I do sound stupid because I know this bag is a designated beach bag. Welcome the soon to come warm summer with some sun and the Juicy Couture ESG Beach Colony Tote. This bag just seems so cheap looking to me. Again, I know it is made with vinyl for a reason, but I don't think this is the best beach bag I've seen. Although it is meant for the beach, there is grained leather trim with rolled shoulder straps which may get a bit tarnished with water getting on them. To add some color for the summer, the rainbow Juicy label is strategically placed on the front of the bag along with a palm tree leather cutout with crystal coconuts. I don't know why, but I just can not get into this bag- beach bag or not. The part that I do like is the Love Surf Juicy cotton towel that is included. Who wouldn't mind having a Juicy beach towel? Kinda cute. Overall this bag measures 15" x 10" x 6". What do you think of it for a beach bag? Now available via eLuxury for $145.

I'm not feeling it...I like the gap tote that was featured last week better...I DO like the towel, though! It's cute!

I think its ok...but I wouldn't pay $145 for it. Reminds me of something you'd see at Target during the summer. Just has too many colors for me. For like $30 more you could get a Juicy bag that's not vinyl like a daydreamer or the floral michelle bag I have. I wouldn't take an expensive bag to the beach b/c it would get gross from sand and saltwater. I would just get a $5 vinyl tote from Target and throw it away after my trip to the beach.

I definitely wouldn't pay $145 for the tote and towel.

Juicy is so frustrating! Many of their silohuettes are so stellar but then they junk it up with the over the top graphics (which i secretly heart on their own, like say, on a catalogue cover or their website!). And I agree re: the clear vinyl subject - for a beach bag, straw would be a much more sophisticated choice than clear plastic for the beach. I have to thumbs down this bag. I agree with Speedy Steph. I'd buy it marked-down at Target and ONLY for the beach trip.

As a HUGE Juicy fan, I am indeed a bit disappointed in this bag. I do, however, like their other bags that just came out for spring that say 'Some Like It Juicy!'. Those are totally cute...

I don't really like it. I wouldn't spend that much on a beach bag. I'd rather go to Target and get a cute canvas one for much less.

Hey, no offense but what the hell is wrong! I completly disagree. I absolutley looooove Juicy Couture. And this beach bag is clearly a wonderfull accessory for the beach and for the mall! It's fashionable, yet versatile. I've never seen a Juicy Couture item I don't like. I completly disagree with some of you people. The vinyl is simply just a form of making the bag more suitable for the beach! Duh!

Yeah this same exact one was available last summer..and the one before that I'm pretty sure.

Maybe they should come out with a newer version?
