Finally: the Judith Leiber Sphere Clutch is a disco bag that really means it.

I’ve seen more than a few tiny, bling-y bags label themselves as “disco” in the past month or so, and none of them seem anywhere near as disco as this sparkly lil’ thing. This bag is Studio 54. It’s John Travolta in that white suit in Saturday Night Fever. This bag is really trying to make disco happen. And I just might let it.

I don’t think anything that I own, including my phone or my keys, would ever fit into this tiny orb, but I can wish, right? If I sailed around on a boat made of money, you best believe I’d buy it and give it a try, if only so I could hold it above my head and dance under it in public after four cocktails. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $2495.

Love Judith Leiber, but out of my price range for that kind of bag.

This is sooo Cute and Gorgeous at the same time! Wish it wasn't so pricey! $2500... that's a bit steep

Not at all fan. I like the idea of bags being sparkly ornate and shaped like something else, but I don't care for this one in particular.

Oh my goodness -- - it's a mini Dicso Ball!!!! Kind of hilarious and kind of cute at the same time..... but at 2500...... sheeesh!!! I bet it doesn't even measure 3" in diameter!

I think it would've been even nicer if they replaced the crystal with what is actually used on disco balls. =)

Golly, I wonder what you can fit in that thing? A few coins perhaps? Surely not a CC or a roll of cash, methinks. I can hang this on my ceiling, invite some friends, and have a disco party (no pun intended). Definitely more of a centerpiece than a purse.
