Hermes signifies classic style and elegance. Yet on the Paris runway, I was thinking that JCrew was there rather than the iconic Hermes. The Hermes Spring 2007 collection hit the boardwalk-like-runway of Paris and delivered a less-than-stellar line up of beachy wear, and casual kickbacks, along with tracksuits. Yikes. What I paid attention to closely were the bags of course, and these bags were collapsible Kelly Bags that were strapped together to look more like a large clutch than a bag. Upond first glance, I like the bag looking this way. Then it occured to me that this bag is so impractical all tied up that it now officially has no use. Our Hermes enthusiasts can be the judges of these bags, a big Yay or over powering Nay?

I like it! It is very simple, yet elegant! I love the black one though! I also love the last picture, that is sooo cute! I would have never guessed it was Hermes!

it just doesn't look like a fabulously elegant bag that one can carry around town. kudos for the innovative design though.

I just really don't like how it ties up like that. I think it looks good on the runway, but for real-life, I don't think it's at all practicable.

Yea, I don't know how convenient they'd be exactly, but I love the look. Very chic.

It just doesn't make sense to me. Why would you want the bottom and feet of the bag to be the focus when the rest of the bag is so much more beautiful and interesting? I just don't get it.

I think they are very cool -- I love it that H is pushing the envelope in a much more chic way.
Love the last bag too.
Does anyone have any price info on any of them?

they do have that on the runway if youre talking about the Lindy bag... the Hermes thread has the Lindy in Rouge Garance! its beautiful butit looks like a GM version of this rose dragee one...

What the hell?!

Don't get me wrong, I love Hermes bags but, this I don't get?...it has to be for runway only! I don't see it being practical to fold up that beautiful bag like that, maybe for packing or storing.

In any case, the leather must be so supple.

First I will say..Hello to everyone! and then I would like to say Hermes has went to far

in my opinion..these new things they have designed is past the boundries of nice. Like the pubic thingy in one of the pictures on here..this is crude..how rediculous can they be?

I have liked alot of the Hermes bags but these new ones are not what I would say is their best in the least or even good.
Also the cones outfit are beyond rediculous! I know maybe this is just for the runway and rock stars but really now, who likes to look at it?? its awful looking!
If Hermes came out with cow paddy purses for ten thow, who would buy one? Just because it says Hermes doesn't always mean its great and wonderful! These new bags don't look to functional to me..they look like one of those things you travel with and hang on the back of a door after you unroll it.
Well I just wanted give my thoughts..sorry if anyone may disagree.
