Default Felix Rey Tuxedo Tote
Now this is a handbag whose designers thought out of the box a bit. I absolutely love the play on a tuxedo shirt that is adorned on this bag. I’ve been paying a bit more attention to Felix Rey bags lately and I am glad that I am. I was thrilled when Amanda first covered the Felix Rey Manon Clutch and I’ve been taking note ever since. Almost every bag I’ve come across since has been unique and whimsical. Just as I’ve become accustomed to, the Felix Rey Tuxedo Tote is a girly, whimsical tote that would be a perfect way to feminize any outfit.

When I first looked at it I thought it might be a little too much. But then I saw a bit of a resemblance to some of the larger Valentino Rose bags and remembered I had the same sentiment when I first came across those bags. However, I soon realized that all the frills and excitement on the bag are exactly what the idea is. The black nylon ruffles are at the front and back of the bag with and there is a nice bow accent on one of the handles. While typically I might think the bow on the handle would be too much, not in this case. In this case it really works and pulls everything together. The 9″ strap drop is a decent size drop so that the bag doesn’t hug too close at your side. Open the bag and the detailing continues with bold and fun leopard print lining. Buy through Shopbop for $246.

Kinda ugly. I really dislike the way the frills and bow are done, and I don't care for the basic tote shape and handles.

when I first read the title of this blog, I was expecting something in black and white and a more literal representation of a tuxedo shirt, but this is not as bad as I was expecting. Not bad...but sadly, not good either
