Default Dangle

dangle

After spending so much time getting ready for a hot date with hair, make-up, outfit, and of course a bag- when you finally get on the date the last thing you want to worry about is if your bag is going to get dirty. I'm sure many of us do it anywhere we go. Which of you place your bag on your lap like it is your child? Oh yes, I do it too. I know we have all heard of handbag hangers, but I'd like to introduce you to a newer designer of them. Let's say hi to Belinda Leung, the Dangle Creator/Founder. Belinda explains that "Dangle is a handbag holder that hangs on nearly any table top to keep your handbag off the floor. An accessory no self-respecting handbag should be without, dangle is a perfect blend of function, femininity and fashion." Right on. You can choose from Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, or Glitzy Gold. My suggestion would be to match your bags hardware with your dangle! The Dangle is 4x2x2 inches, weighs just 2.3 oz., fits tables up to 2 ½ inches and comes in its own convenient carrying satchel. For the price of $35.00 via her online store, this could be the perfect holiday gift to your handbag friends or yourself.
Any of you in the market for something like this?

The obsessive nerd in me thinks this is just fantastic, but the practical girl says it would never get used. For one, it's a little neurotic to hang your bag with its own hanger off the side of the table, and I can only imagine the looks I would get at some of my favorite restaurants. Also, where would I keep it? My bag is already full enough, thank you!

I have seen something similar carried by my grandmother and the better restaurants have them at the tables. An excellent idea to avoid theft or just to keep a bag out of the way.

Has anyone seen MARCH OF THE PENGUINS? I do a Daddy-Penguin-and-his-egg kinda thing. If I'm concerned about the place I'm at (yesterday at the circus...), I keep my feet together and balance the bag on the top of my shoes!

I'd kind of feel weird putting the dangle on a table. I'd rather keep my bag on my lap. LOL

Ladies, I ordered the Dangle and it came yesterday. I really like it; used it at lunch today. It fits neatly in your bag when not in use and no one even noticed it today or at least they didn't say anything about it or my bag which really pissed me of as I was carrying my spy. 'LOL'

I like it a lot BUT if I had it, it would most likely never be used.

I'll get one when the gold tone is back in stock, I like it b/c it isn't all cute-sy like others I've seen.

I agree with the others in that I love the style. It's elegant. As for it's practicality for me, I guess it would depend on how heavy of a bag it could hold. I really only carry large, heavy bags so I don't know if it would be able to hold them.
