Immediately when I saw these jeans they lured me in. While I have a hard time deciding who looks good in high waisted jeans (I truly believe it depends on your body type, a tall gal and a shorter gal can pull them off), these are killer! The D&G Dolce & Gabbana High Waisted Jeans feature blue stretch denim with a high waist and flare bottom. There are four button fastening pockets and belt loops. These jeans were seen on the D&G runway and the look is perfect for spring. I have a great pair of flare jeans that I bought recently, but I actually have not delved into the high waist department lately. But pairing these with a tucked in top and a great belt is the perfect look for spring that will transition to fall. Buy through Net A Porter for $270.Original post found HERE via My Couture.

Actually, I think that these look pretty good. They would work well on someone who is long waisted with shorter legs. The over all look would be leg lengthening. I would prefer a slightly darker wash, but this color would work well for summer.

They look really nice. Don't know if I could pull them off, but I do like them.

I love this look! I would love to take exactly everything on that manquin and wear it myself...including the Bay! Very modern retro...I like it!

This is easy for me.
My rule is, if I wore them the first time they were around (the 70's) then I won't be wearing them again.

I love them - and yes I believe you would need a slender build to pull them off. I do not mind high waisted at all... they are kind of "old school" without the acid wash!! Very nice IMO. The price is also good.
Besides.... they are dolce.... ![]()

I love this look but Im not sure how well shorties (like myself) could pull it off. On a tall gal, this look would be awesome!

^ I'm like 5'1 and 1/4 so I highly doubt they will look good on me!

I am so glad the high wasted jeans is back. I think it is very inappropriate for girls showing half of their butts when they wear low cut jeans and bent over. I have to say -- this is fashion. Even people don't like it at the first sight, after seeing everyone, including celebrities wearing it, people will get used to and accept it.
