Default Re: Chloe Large Paddington Hobo

I find Chloe bags have the best quality leather among most designer bags, but unfortunately also the heaviest. The lock adds another 0.5 lb. I purchased both a Paddy (2.5 lb empty and with lock) and a Betty (almost 4 lb empty). Due to the weight, I got rid of the Betty. I am keeping the Paddy, because it is so beautiful.

As for the Hobo, I would pass, because it is bigger and thus will very likely be heavier. If I need a bag to carry on my shoulder, my Paddy will do the job alright. Besides, the Paddy looks dressier than the Hobo, and is versatile enough for all occasions.

Yes, my vote is for the original Paddy.

I think it's beautiful, but I haven't seen it in real life. I sold my paddy because it was so heavy, so, based on the other comments, I guess I won't be getting one either!

I think the one handle idea is a good idea, no problem with one of the handles slipping off the shoulder. But Thsi bag could create me with a weighty issue. I have the original 2005 but I rarely use it as it is heavy enough with nothing inside.

Muggles - did you get the bag?
Thoughts? I have found one on eBay that I'm thinking of getting and would like some feedback before I take the plunge!

I have wanted a chloe forever, thought buying an MJ would do the trick, but realized I NEED THE CHLOE! So now to evilbay to score me a cheaper one!
