Default Brahmin Melboune Tote
I’ve spent the past two days in LA meeting with all sorts of fabulous people in the fashion world. I had a chance to meet with the Lockheart team yesterday and was overwhelmed by their friendliness and openness. As we sat and chatted we couldn’t help but talk about the hot colors out there and one color that kept coming up was a deep yellow, almost maize or marigold color. So on the heels of that conversation I had to stop and take note of the Brahmin Melbourne Tote.

The color of this bag is what lured me in. I love the dark shade of yellow that adorns this bag. The crocodile texture makes the bag look more extravagant than the price tag would let on. And while I am all up for stepping outside of the box, I do love when a classic shape, like this tote, is executed nicely. Amanda first introduced this bag in a bright pink color back in the spring and while I liked the bag back then, I like it even more in this color. Buy through Nordstrom for $245.

Hmmm.....I don't think I like the colour, TBH - it looks less like marigold and more like jaundice, to me...

There again, I'm not big on yellow - I only really like egg yolk, mustard and a very specific fluorescent shade!

The Pecan, however, is delicious!

Wonder whether they do the Pecan mock croc in a nice, simple clutch?

Like the shape, hate the dead animal look.

Not a fan of the color.
Falling in love with the rest of their line.

i used to be in love with brahmin. I have at least 3, but stopped, this is making me consider taking a second look. always loved the texture/patterns of their leather and the cute little brass fob. I'm told they are owned by the same company as D&B
