Default Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Shoulder Bag

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Shoulder Bag

In this crazy fast-paced world we live in, wearing a piece of simple heaven is always a plus. Many Bottega Veneta fans are true fans because the products offered are designed well, made well, appear simple, but still add the perfect touch. No need for extra chains, charms, bells, or whistles when you turn to Bottega Veneta. The Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Shoulder Bag gets the job done. Acting as what it is intended to be, a handbag, this bag showcases Ebano intrecciato leather with a single shoulder strap, fold-over flap top, and brass hardware. Simple does not mean boring, it can speak volumes. Available through NAP for $2380 and worth every simple penny.

I think it looks ok, but there's something strange with the flap, is it a double flap? Seems strange to me.

I love the understated elegance of BV. IMHO they have the best browns.

I'm sure the leather's great, but the silhouette is a tad dumpy. The classic BV hobo is a lot more attractive asthetically IMO.

I love me some BV, but this bag is doing nothing for me at all. I can't do a flap bag.

I've tried this bag on but the shoulder strap doesn't sit well. It is too stiff!

i love a lot of BVs but this bag is underwhelming. i hate fancy schmancy hardware and logos and monogrammes but as much as i love simplicity and minimalistic luxury, there is such a thing as being too simple.
though i've seen simpler bags that are more exciting - the bv cabat for example. there's just something off about this one - maybe it's the flap, as another poster mentioned.

this one looks a little small. i love big bags! the flaps bother me, too. they are all too expensive, even when they are on sale. i bought a few BV woven leather accessories at my favorite online store called http://www.BrandsBoutique.com. Their prices are good. But still a little high. There's a bag I want there, too, but free shipping helps and they don't charge taxes either.

Question for anyone....I tried this bag at BV NYC and found it hard
to put on my shoulder, maybe with paper filling it up it is not possible.

has anyone owned this bag, and can tell me with wear and no paper
it works on a shoulder? I am not a small woman.

Thanks

Most bags nowadays are made for small women. I have the same problem with this style. It doesn't slouch enough under the arm. I was at BV last week and tried on many of the shoulder styles. The double strap bags don't seem to stay on my shoulder. I want and need a big bag. I saw some nice ones at efashoinhouse.com a couple of weeks ago. I hate payhing full price so i am constantly lookinf ro bargains. They seem to carry the best online for really good prices.
