Default Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo Bag

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo Bag

For me to drag you through another paragraph of why this handbag is amazing would be a waste of both of our times. We all know by now that Bottega Veneta provides ultimate luxury leather goods, that their leather is as supple as you are going to get, and that the only designer that can truly weave leather is Bottega Veneta. So rather than gush about how lush and supple this bag is, how great the leather sits, and how many compliments you will get, I will simply inform you that the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo Bag in gray leather is available on Net A Porter right now. A flap closure, strap across the top, and beige suede lining finish this bag off. Stunning, like all Bottega Bags are, through NAP for $2,250.

Bottega Veneta is my always love, and I adored this style so much!

Megs, is this the same style but different color as you posted on June 26, 07? I wish I could own them both.

Drab. But not the drabbest of bottega venetas, not at all. I'm sorry, but I fail to see the wonderful quality of this. I tried BV bags on and felt the leather, to me it felt thin and pretty frail. I didn't care for the texture either.

This bag is called the Sloane. It is improved upon, in my opinion, by the New Pyramid, which has a zipper instead of an overlapping flap opening. BV leather is by no means "thin and frail." Sure it's not HEAVY, which is why they are the most comfortable leather bags in the world to carry on the shoulder. I own two Bottega Veneta bags and they are not only stunning in design and construction, but quite durable as well. They are classics.

i own a few BVs, and im not sure whether its because of my age, but i always seem i need to accessorize them a little bit.. somehow i dont like the bags on their own..lacks style to me..but yea.. the leather is really soft so i use it for holidays when i have to walk for hours while carrying heavy stuff

Lovely bag but I prefer BV bags in limo or dark brown rather than that kinda drab dark grey/ faded black color.

High quality doesn't equal hardwearing.

More often than not, the finest quality and most expensive items are the most delicate.

For example, silk vs cotton, or cashmere vs wool.

Having said that, I've never found BV leather to be thin and as it is so soft, it is pretty resilient, as it almost 'heals' around minor damage. Although, I have found that colour transfer from dark clothes is a problem, especially with the lighter-to-mid tone colours.

I do worry where they may get the leather from, though...

Re. the bag - gorgeous, although I wish it had a much longer strap (or there was an elongated strap option).
