Default Bird Handbags Mrs. Ostrich Clutch
The first thing that struck me about this clutch was that it claims to be ostrich leather. And Bird Handbags are known for their use of ostrich in particular, so that wasn’t so surprising as the fact that the Bird Handbags Mrs. Ostrich Clutch looks like no other handbag made of that material that I’ve ever seen before in my life.

And I’m all about innovation, so let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Because of the three rows of scale-like spots on the top flap, I almost assumed that the bag was made partially out of python, but the description does not support that assumption. It appears to be ostrich skin, skillfully and artistically manipulated until it resembles something totally unlike itself but not entirely like anything else.

I totally love it. The rugged, uneven finish of the flap combines with the matte black leather in order to form a day-to-night clutch that Alexander Wang would be proud of. It’s modern and edgy while still being usable and easy to incorporate into most wardrobes. But what I like most is the price, particularly for an exotic. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $425.

I have been wanting to see a Bird bag up close, but haven't had the chance. I like the look.
