on first glance the blue looks like a birkin. but i once had a fake birkin that sort of looked real, but i always knew it was fake and never bonded with it.
i saw the white GA in BG the other day, and i really liked it. it has a kind of stylish quality their bags usually lack.

Surprisingly I like the Pucci, I used to find Pucci too busy. This is a great summer bag, but $750 for a terry cloth bag is too much.

I love the Pucci. It has a '70's mod vibe to it.

The folio bag is pretty cool too, and the camouflage print doesn't overwhelm

Fox Monkey-OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH you have my heart palpitating. Would you post pics when you get it? I'm just reading this thread and coincidentally posted one a few days ago about Forzieri. I noticed a few other bags on that site that looked like MJ knockoffs, but I didn't see the Birkin wannabee. WOW I'm still excited for you. Can't wait to hear more about it.

What color did you get???

Eeeee! I'm so excited but I'm trying not to think about it too much - except I am.

I ordered it from another site, though, Piero Tucci, also in Italy. I got this one in tobacco. Soft leather (embossed, I think), gold hardware, 35 cm. I've been eyeing this bag for a couple of years now, and I finally gave in. I compared it to the Forzieri bag above, in camel, but the tobacco color seemed a little nicer, so I went with that one. Eeek, I'm so nervous! Here's the pic from the website:

I'll definitely post pictures when it arrives. Shipping was free, which was a nice surprise. It's coming by UPS and should arrive in 2-3 business days, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll probably get it by Wednesday or Thursday next week.

Click here for the Forzieri ones. Click the last page for these bags and then page backward - they're near the end.

Both Piero Tucci and Forzieri have Kelly-inspired styles as well. AND...Tucci has both styles in croc and ostrich, too.

I probably sound like I work for these guys, but I don't. I've just been eyeing both sites for a while. I've never ordered a bag from overseas before. I hope all goes smoothly!

I don't understand why would people want to buy a birkin-lookalike? Why do other labels want to copy other labels' design? Shouldn't they have their own uniqueness?

Well, in my case, I like the Birkin, but I'm not sure whether I want to spend 5,000 - 7,000 dollars for one. Who knows? I might love this one so much that I just *have* to have the real thing. Until then, I plan to enjoy the bejeebus out of my Birkin-inspired bag.

I almost got the green (my favorite color!) and I love the navy, but decided to go with a neutral instead. The darker browns are beautiful as well. The coffee and the cognac are gorgeous.
