I'll be glad to! I keep checking my account at Saks, but so far it hasn't been shipped. I have a feeling I won't have to wait until the end of September as the website says I might.

This bag arrived today from Saks and I just don't know what to think. I'm really on the fence. It is pretty and looks just like the picture so the appearance is quite lovely. The problems are these: there isn't just a simple snap closure as I assumed there would be. Rather there are four straps that connect inside the top of the bag to keep it shut. It's just odd. And a pain. Secondly, there was a loose staple sticking out of the side pocket....not a big deal, but it does make me wonder where it came from. Thirdly, the dust bag is teeny. It was just laying folded up in the top of the package and when I opened it I was shocked! It looks as if it's meant for a clutch.

I only half-way pleased and I can't decide what to do. It's pretty, and although compared to all my other bags, the price wasn't as much, but it isn't up to my expectations. I'm going to have to sleep on this one.

I purchased my black patent and navy BOgart from an exclusive boutique here in Massachusetts. I hear what you are saying about the closure.....but this is what I have found....There should be a regular snap if you want the bag to look like a tote. If you choose to give it a bit of that more angular shape, you close the inside double strap.
I don't know what you have decided at this point...I realize you left this post last week (I didn't know there was a thread about the Bogart). Personally, I believe you should at least get the appropriate dust bag....and yes, mine came with a huge ticking stripe dust bag.
Let me know what you decide....I truly love this bag, but it will not be an everyday bag for me....a special black trouser and navy coat type bag for me for special days off....

I'm so glad you like your bag!! It really is quite pretty and since you know how to adjust the closure it is even nicer!

In the end, I returned it. I almost never send anything back, but I decided not to keep it.

Your idea of keeping it safe and wearing it with navy and black will definitely showcase your bag's beauty.

I hope you really enjoy it! I know you will turn lots of heads when you carry it!

Totally love it! Does anyone know where I can buy this bag online (that website must also ship it to Canada)?

Likes: Art Deco-inspired styling, patent with suede, colour.

Dislikes: Incongruous-looking logo plate slap-bang in the middle of it, cheap-looking hardware, ladylike shape.
