Well, none of us know for sure whether she actually paid for the bag or not.

Even if she did, I think she deserves the right to spend her money as she wishes. If she wants to spoil Zahara here and there I see nothing wrong with that. I know she does tons of charity work, but I don't think she ever signed a contract where she has to donate all of her expendable money to charity. Sure, that would be nice, but for her hard work she deserves rewards for herself.

That's like saying every philanthropist should live in a cheap apartment because the money spent on a nice house/mansion could have gone to charity.

Just my 2 cents.

I simply don't think a small child should be taught to indulge in luxuries like it grows on trees or something. Paris, anyone?

And I thought Ange would know better than to let her carry something like this. I can only justify it if Ange had given her a giant, two hour lecture on not taking things for granted before giving this to her.

At the same time, I think Zahara is so young she doesn't even know what designer brands are. It's not like she's 12 and has avid knowledge of Chanel, Hermes, Valentino, etc. She just sees it as something cute she can use to carry her things (whatever they may be). It's not like it's blatantly designer. If TPF hadn't educated me that the bag was Valentino, I would have no idea how much/what brand of bag it was.

I do agree that Zahara's too young to appreciate the value of this bag that she has, but I don't think that automatically means Zahara will grow up to be a snotty brat either.

Hmm.. I'm not really sure with this one.

I know where you're coming from entirely, but at the same time, Angelina and Brad make such a high combined income that their whole family probably won't ever have to worry about financial issues.

These are celebrities, some of the most well-known celebs and celebrity children known in the WORLD. I don't think it's quite the same to compare Zahara to a normal child her age. That will just never be a possibility.

It could go both ways I guess. I don't want to talk too much about this because I'm judging someone else's child and it's not very nice for me to do so . I'm just opposed children being exposed to this sort of thing so young.

^I totally agree where you're coming from. I personally wouldn't give a Valentino bag to a child that young, but then again, I'll never be in Angelina's shoes so I guess I'll never know what I'd do in her situation. I'm not even a mother either, so I wouldn't be able to relate.
