I think its time I branched out and tried another BE style - my collection of 3 WTM midis needs to be joined by another style.

I'm therefore thinking of either a SMM as I like smaller bags but am so tempted by a Hug me in choco cervo. My first thoughts were to go with the medium size but the pictures of the large hug me look wonderful.

Maybe you can give me your thoughts on the sizes? Firstly, if I went for the large would it be too large to wear messenger style? Is the strap long enough so it hangs at the hip or slightly below - hate the waist look reminds me of highwaisted pants tucked in! By the way I'm 5ft 7 (170cm)Would the large handles be long enough to wear over the shoulder without lengthening?

So so many questions!

No but I found it felt quite heavy when worn that way. I found it dragged on my shoulder and hurt me after a bit.

Is the strap long enough so it hangs at the hip or slightly below

If I remember correctly the strap is quite long and you can get the bag down quite low.

Would the large handles be long enough to wear over the shoulder without lengthening?

I am 5'5" and find the original length handles to be plenty long enough due to the way the bag slumps. Other people have needed longer straps though.

Numnut, get yourself the Choco Cervo Hug Me in LARGE!!!

It drapes and hangs so beautifully and the leather is so super gorgeous, you'll be thanking me you did!!!

In fact, I wish I had gone with the Hug Me style instead of the TME.....I just love the drape.

And surprisingly....the large isn't as large as you'd expect!!! I love my black one.....and would love to get a choco beauty too....maybe in the Fall.

I think that mine has a zip pocket on one side and a mobile phone pocket and another slightly larger open pouch on the other. There is the usual key strap.

I don't have a HUG me, but when I do get one it's going to be LARGE! And I want the choco pebbled glossy when I order it. Oh, and it's going to be dressed with tons of gold hardware.

I think everyone needs a large HM in either the choco cervo or black. You can't go wrong with either color. Just make it a large and a cervo. Just my advice.

The full length outside slip pockets on each side are a great feature also.

Okay, speaking as a lunatic who owns a black pebbled large Hug Me, a wine pebbled large Hug Me, and, has a pre-loved milk choco pebbled large Hug me on its way to me, I can only say that I love the ease of the Hug Me.

I love the ease in staying organized: it has the typical BE features that jenova mentioned above, plus it has two large "pockets" that run the entire length of the bag (one on each side.) So I keep my wallet, Protect Me, iPhone, kleenex, travel wipes, etc., in my outside large pockets, and my angel purses inside the main large compartment, along with sunglasses etc.

And I love the ease in carrying it; it transitions seamlessly between hand-held, shoulder-held and as a messenger.

I also love the slouchy look of the large Hug Me, which has nothing to distract from the gorgeous pebbled luxe leather!

The only drawback for me is that I'm not wild about the way the Hug Me looks on my shoulder or as a messenger, but you can't have everything.
Although I LOVE the way my BE TMAs and my Balenciaga Couriers LOOK, they are much harder for me to stay organized within (although my Angel Purses really help!). I suppose the

I"m glad that you love your large HM. Your like me with my WTM's. But, that said I STILL love love my HM's.

A dark choco large sounds wonderful for the fall. LOVE it!

I have the Hug Me in the medium and I love it. It's soft and slouchy and holds a whole lot. It is also one of my bags that gets noticed the most. Everyone asks me where I got it from and tells me it is stunning.
I like how the medium looks on the shoulder or carried in hand. I don't normally wear it messenger style but have done so and have no problems with it. It can get heavy that way though.
I think the Hug ME is one style that looks very different in each size. I am happy with the medium though, and would probably like to get a small at some point.

Based on the rave reviews, I decided to try a Black Pebbled Hug Me last fall as my first handheld bag. I bought whatever the regular size was that was first available for sale, but I returned it immediately. Although I could see the potential, the shape wasn't right for me. It was too wide and it looked funny when I checked it out in a mirror. I tried to wear it messenger style and it didn't work at all.

I know that some people who want to wear the bag on the shoulder have been pleased with longer handles and the larger size. I think I'm in the minority because I still don't like how the Hug Me looks on the shoulder.

Luckily, there are many BE styles. I know now that I need to stick with shoulder bags and I have found that the LM Midi and TME Midi styles are perfect for me.
