TejasMama...speak up!!!

personally, I love the Large pebbled Hug Me and think it looks BEST handheld or in the crook of the arm.

It's a beautiful bag. IME, the large doesn't work well or look good worn messenger style. I feel like the large is more like an extra large bag which works great for moms that carry a bunch. The large is a very heavy bag weighing in at just about 3 pounds.

I've owned all 3 sizes. My favorite is the medium & I wear it on my shoulder or hand carry it.

It was too wide and it looked funny when I checked it out in a mirror. I tried to wear it messenger style and it didn't work at all.

I know that some people who want to wear the bag on the shoulder have been pleased with longer handles and the larger size. I think I'm in the minority because I still don't like how the Hug Me looks on the shoulder.

Luckily, there are many BE styles. I know now that I need to stick with shoulder bags and I have found that the LM Midi and TME Midi styles are perfect for me.
I also have purchased regular size Hug Mes and sold them immediately. They looked horrible on MY shoulder and were just NOT a good size or practical shape for me. The LARGE Hug Me, however, is a different story. I agree that there is a HUGE difference between the sizes, almost making them like different styles!

YEAH Contessa, I have been interested in what the medium looks like. I have a regular size and have had the large size as well. I am thinking that a medium in red cervo would be fabulous!!!

^very helpful link tejasmama -- i may be sold. btw i was finally able to try on a hug me today and it does not work for me at all. the handles are way too short to wear over the shoulder (and i'm quite petite) and the bag hung way too low when worn with the strap -- wrong all around! i think if you really want/need to wear it with the strap you will need to custom order rings on the ends because hooking the strap to the handles makes the bag hang really awkwardly. while i always appreciate the option of a strap i don't think this bag should even come with one because it really doesn't work. but if you're looking for a handheld bag it's great.

Please keep the strap...lol...I use it when I need "hands free"
And I really don't want to pay extra for one!

Hi kicks, I'm assuming you tried the small or regular size, is that right??

Wait, there are 3 sizes of the HM? I had two, wish I hadn't sold them. It was one of the most versatile bags I ever had. Now that I hear that the double straps are longer, that's perfect. I'd love to get another original sized one, medium? in glossy petrol with the longer double straps.

^^Cindy, there are 3 sizes of the HM. The original size was not the medium, but was the small or regular. I don't believe that stock regular Hug Me straps have been lengthened (could be wrong, though), but that doesn't mean that you couldn't order it with lengthened straps.
