I've just ordered series 1 of 'Being Human' on DVD! I have also ordered the first book of the Twilight series, purely because I obviously need to get to grips with my vampire phobia.....! DH managed to sneak some Conn Iggulden Genghis Khan books into the order as well - should I be worried??

Yay! I'm so glad you are going to give my Edward a try. I know it is not the literary work that you are accustomed to, but sometimes "simple" is all you need. Let me know how it works for you.

Jenova -Nothing simple about you! I can't say that mortician is really that awful. I think I would be sad having to face the families. However, you could be just what they need to make it through... I have friends from school that own a funeral parlor. I always wondered how they managed, but they do... and they are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.

Vixnkitten - Don't kill me, but I am so not into Jacob. Sure, he's a sweetie, but he didn't seem to have that whole powerful, mysterious, sexy thing going on like Edward. Plus, the kids would end up all furry! The second book that was mostly about Jacob had me begging for it to end. *ducking now!*[/QUOTE]

Suzi - I have to agree with you on this. I kept waiting on Edward to appear for almost the entire book. I am currently reading Eclipse. I am definitely hooked.

I also preordered the series True Blood. I am so into these vampire things...Might have to check out the BBC series Being Human as well. I have to ask my sister about it since she lives in the UK.

Default Rampaging cattle in my garden
OMG! The cattle in the field closest to us escaped and managed to find their way into our estate - there was about 12 of them roaming around the bottom when I was taking DS to school. I then went grocery shopping and when I came back they had gone.

Anyway, it was only then that I noticed that my driveway was covered in cow poo and that my front lawn was completely trashed! It's been raining for 2 days here so the ground is very soft, so my lovely little lawn now resembles a quagmire. And they managed to get round the side of the house and break the fence .

I then had to do the dance of the cow poo trying to get my shopping out of the car and into the house whilst negotiating large pools of splatty cow crap!

I have just about managed to calm down about it now, but I intend to buttonhole that farmer and ask him to make good!

We used to live near a field full of Jersey cows when I was a child. They were very frisky and often used to get into our garden.

My absence relates to internet problems and lots of arguements, as yet unresolved, with helpful/helpless people in call centres in India.

There is nothing worse than splatty cow crap! Ew! We have a farmer that leases the fields that run east, west and south of us so we are surrounded by cows. It's the country so it's expected but the dang things get out all the time, especially calves and wander into our alfalfa field which is intended for our horses in winter not stupid cows in summer. Makes me so mad so I totally understand your frustration CFB! Go get that farmer and make him fix it! Icky cow pies. Gross! (rant over)

On another note.... I've had my heart set on a charm me mini but then the tma midi arrived and I'm also still swooning over the wtm midi. I can do one bag now and one bag later. I'm really hoping and praying and crossing my fingerst that a new cervo is about to be announced or I'm going with matte purple perhaps for the charm me mini or I thought a matte apple green wtm midi would be lovely! Or perhaps a matte dark purple tma midi and matte apple green wtim midi and skip the charm me mini? I can't decide which 2 out of the 3!! Opinions??

Ah Jenova..outsourcing at its best. It took me months to resolve mine here in the USA..after two months of wrangling I asked to speak to someone who wasn't reading from a script..got transferred to the Canadian office..which switched me to Virginia..and on to NYC..where 10 technicians later..someone finally realized that the flaw was in Verizon's equipment..BTW..this all began during Pink Tuesday back in November..

I was going to resort to speaking to the lovely but clueless people in Spanish hoping at least to be switched somewhere other than India..I got the feeling that every time I asked to speak to a supervisor..they politely put me on hold..and picked a randome number out of a fishbowl marked "who wants to play supervisor this time?"...amazing that they have names like Carlos and Jennifer when clearly this isn't the case..GL dear heart..and patience and perseverence might will out.

It's not the first time they've broken out either ... grrrr. I now understand why my parents have a cattle grid at the entrance of their property, even though you take your life in your hands trying to cross it in heels! (not to mention the odd hedgehog falling into it and having to be rescued by my father using a large stick and a net shopping bag )

Hmmm, bag choices, bag choices. Going by what you've said, what about getting the matte apple green WTM Midi to be going on with because it sounds as if you really want that one for sure, and maybe just holding back on the others until Jackie either comes up with a new cervo, or suddenly one of them turns into a 'must have' rather than a 'not sure'?

LOL at the cattle grid! Anyway, yeah, the wtm midi would be a nice summer bag but do you think it's only a spring/summer color? We have short summers so I need a bag that can go into winter too. Of course, I don't often worry about whether a color is truly appropriate here! LOL! I don't dress up anyway, more jeans and ts or sweatshirts but love a good bag to make me feel good! ANYWAY, I seriously want a purple bag too so perhaps I should hold out for a purple charm me mini just in case a purple cervo appears! We're all hoping, aren't we!? But I'd do dark purple matte just as easily. I still think I'll wait until after next week when the hobo is unveiled too! I really should only do one more bag! I start getting too many and I get all nervous and anxious because I can't use them all!

Having the Identity Theft Protection switched on cripples my computer. I spent 3 hours on the phone this morning and de- and reinstalled it 5 times (for 5 different people).

I have now discovered that turning it off for a few minutes frees it back up again. This is not a very good solution but I am back on line for a bit at least.

I like the True Blood books better than the Twilight series.

That could be fun ... I think! I've a cookbook that has a chapter called 'Cooking a whole beast on a spit' and I've always been itching to try it! What could possibly go wrong?

Jenova, you have my sympathies, there is nothing worse than a misbehaving computer.

Jenova, sorry for your troubles. I hope they clear up!

What about a matte apple green wtm midi and a dark purple matte charm me mini? Then I can get a tma midi next year! Or sooner. Or copy pixiechic and do ag charm me mini and dp tma midi, saving the wtm midi for later? Can you tell my brain is totally stuck on apple green and dark purple? I'm a mess. I need to ban myself from the computer!

ETA: I'm just repeating myself, aren't I? My brain is stuck in one gear today! Sorry!

I suddenly had an unexpected update of my protection suite and both my computers mysteriously recovered. I think that one of them may have had an on line 'blockage' a bit like internet constipation????

CB - pity your cows weren't constipated!!!
