OMG, MBTs are the greatest! I have sneakers, boots and maryjanes in them, and I've even gotten my husband addicted to the hiking boots (for walking our dog) in the winter and fisherman's sandals in the summer. Love them!

I think that the Reebok Easytones, and Fitflops, etc. are all based on the MBT. MBT is an acronym for Masai Barefoot Technology, which I believe is supposed to mimic walking on sand barefoot. Sort-of like a wobbleboard in a shoe, it works your legs/glutes/back with regular walking and I suppose your core as well. They have definitely improved my posture!

^ I've made that before in a pinch before. You can also substitute brown sugar for granulated, which I do but I prefer brown over granulated. You can cut the sugar to 1/2 cup too and it usually works too. All depends on the peanut butter you are using though.

mine were about £100 in the UK. I guess they are around the $200 dollar mark for you. What i would say is that it is best to have them fitted in a shop rather than order online. Near me there is a pharmacy that sells them and my friend and I went in when they had an offer on and got fitted. I am usually a size 5 but I think I got 4 and half. you need them to be snug as the soles unbalance you and you can't let your feet slip about. I recommended them to my other friend at work and she goes for her lunchtime walk in them, and often forgets to take them off. they are so comfy - but they definately tone and improve your posture too!

I always get mine online, *suzi*, and I almost always buy when they're on sale. Naturalizer had some of the leather mary jane styles on sale for around $125 or so last week. I stocked up. The Walking Shoe Company also has sales on MBT. Caveat here is that I wear different sizes in MBTs, depending on the style. When they say on the Walking Shoe Company that the style runs small, they aren't kidding around. I'd try to get to a mall and try them on before buying online. |

Zappos does them...I saw a couple there for $140 or so. If you can't find them at a mall, try Zappos because the returns are easy-peasy, and they even let you hold onto one pair while they send a replacement pair free of charge if you are undecided about sizing.

OK, I know people swear by them, but.... they're kind of odd looking!
