suzi..thanks..but I don't feel so great this morning..my legs hurt!!..lol..and funny enough we got our farm for the dogs..and they are in a perfect condition..I have a lure cross track set up for them , agility course etc., but they do all the running, I only walk a lot!

I'm curious to see what this will lead me to.

Cruise food..it's lovely! Food almost 24 hrs ... very tempting to overeat! Once we were on a cruise with almost only Brits, and many managed to get their baked beans and bacon TWICE in the mornings..ewww! Once indoors..then a little break..then off to the outdoor cafeteria!
Hope you get well in time for your trip..crossing fingers with you.

I still have my crazy flu. My fingers are crossed that I wake up healthy for my trip. I can't wait to hear how the new diet and interval training goes. I'm packing healthy snacks so I don't go too crazy with the cruise food.
Feel Better Suzi!

Bonnie, thanks for the jumpstart back into my workout routine. I needed that nudge this week.

^Good job Lovebags!

Bonnie - My mom is English and we used to stay in a Bed & Breakfast where the breakfast consisted of fried bread in bacon grease, tomatos, eggs and bangers. It was so fattening, yet so yummy at the same time.

I stayed in New Orleans last night. I had no idea all of that Mardis Gras stuff goes on every night. I had fun because there was a band that played all of my favorite tunes, but the place is definitely better suited to 20 something year old guys who would appreciate the drinking and girls.

I'm still sick, but I'm sure it's nothing some sun won't cure! Have a great week ladies. I doubt I will have internet, so the other mods will be popping in.

Wonder what's wrong with you, Suzi? I hope you aren't sick for much longer.

Ok, I've officially started the food plan from finzup..seems very good..only problem for me is to eat six times..my interval training today started well with to warm up, but after 3 steps of running, every fiber in my thighs seemed to break, so I humped back home from the fields..ha! Wonder how long it'll take healing??

next update next week!

Um....Bonnie, please do not strain yourself if you're new to this. Due to the nature of interval training, you WILL feel it both in your legs and body, especially if you're not used to it. Just build it up slowly, and make sure you warm up well! I don't want to hear of you passing out doing this! Be safe!

finzup, Huge congrats on the fab weight loss!!! BRILLIANT!! Try and incorporate some exercise though, to tone up!

Good Luck Bonnie! I can't wait to hear your progress.

Today, I"m going to count WW points more carefully. I like that program it's just that you can go over points SO easily.

And I agree with Tash - be safe!

don't know if it helps anyone, but after both my kids i started doing Gunnar Petersen's Core Secrets programme - one of those exercise balls and free weights thing; there are 3 DVD's in the original set (its been discontinued but you can still get them on ebay)... it's amazing for strengthening your core, plus thighs, tum and bum.. i do 20 mins 3 times per week and i'm fitter and more toned than before i had my kids.. it definitely rocks (and it's quick too..) although some days i still ache next day if i've done to many squates or hamstring presses...i've probably gone down a dress size from before i was pregnant.

prada..well, I have one of these large balls..got it from somewhere..I could have a go at it..though I'm sure I'll fall off! Must get my legs ok first..can't even sit on a blo..y chair!

I just started running too and so I can totally empathize! My hubby is into fitness and he says that if my legs (my upper thighs are what were burning too, lol-hamstrings and quads I think?) hurt after a workout or run then that's a good thing. They're getting stronger and will start to hurt less with time and I'll be able to do more and not feel so sore. Easy for him to say-he's a guy plus he actually loves exercise, lol. Its super that you accomplished what you did!!

Have you guys heard of the dvd series PX90? I have two friends who are on it and they swear by it...I was thinking of trying it once I establish a good schedule of running a few times a week.
I started running mixed up with power walking last week and did 15 miles of killer hilly terrain in 5 days! I'm super stoked because I hate exercise but I want to tone up and lose 5 lbs....I had a baby last year and lost the 45 lbs I gained while I was preggers but want to lose 5 more to be at a little less than my target weight so I don't freak when I gain a couple of pounds of water weight here and there, lol. Plus Starbucks winter drink season is coming up and the peppermint hot chocolates are soon to be a daily addiction, lol. I love those red cups!
I love that feeling of being strong especially now that I have children but unfortunately I actually have to work for it since I hit 30, ugh.
I just stumbled onto this thread since I haven't been on TPF a whole lot in the past few months and am super happy...this is gonna be so great in helping w/my fitness goals!!

I just feel very chic when we enter our hotel and organized. LOVE that feeling!

You should see me. The minute I book a trip I race to my closet to grab my weekender and overnighter. I'd wear these as my handbags if I could. LOL
Wow, the tan seems so luxe! I love light colors because they're so impractical but so chic like you said. Its like only the really glamorous who live the high life can pull it off, lol. The hotel staff probably drools over your luggage when you aren't looking!!

My fiance just got the p90x. .he's already in fantastic shape so he's hoping it can take him to the next leve.
Me? I think i'm too out of shape to even attempt such a feat.. they look hard!!! I am going to get my flat butt (haha) back into the gym this week.. for sure!

Bonnie, congrats on starting.. the first 3 weeks (priming phase) are the hardest because it's 3 weeks until the cheat day. You will get used to the 6 meals a day and you won't be hungry.. the hardest part is drinking the protein shake @ night... speaking of that I'm off to go drink mine :)

Tash thanks!! I do not want to be all flabbified after losing this weight so I know I must must must get into the gym.... no flabby brides..hahaha

Congrats on getting married! Marriage is the best when your significant other is truly your soul mate.

Ugh, glute workouts are the worst! I'm petite but curvy/hourglass shaped and so toning that area is a must for me, lol.
