Sorry I haven't been on much. I have been pulling my hair out with internet issues.

I know the feeling! I bought a new laptop and I've been forced to turn the router off and on several times a day to reestablish my connection. I played around a bit this weekend with Verizon's In-Home Agent tool and things seem to working better now. If the problems come up again, I'll be calling Verizon. I hate it when things don't work!

I'm still limping on with my crappy laptop which has marginally improved after uninstalling a certain spyware product and installing a different one. It occasionally does seem to have a mind of it's own though!

However when I complain loudly() about it and DH has a look, it all works perfectly!! Hmmm, he's blaming it on some weird electrical/magnetic thing that he heard about from my parents when in my teens I sent watches into turmoil - too fast, too slow or just stopped (and yet they worked perfectly on everyone else) and was advised to wear as much plastic in a watch as possible!

Never install anything new on a computer if you can help it is my policy. It is frequently disasterous.

I am desperately bored and looking for something naughty to buy myself but nothing I fancy is available yet. By the time the suppliers 'get their fingers out' I will be bored stiff by their goods and no longer want them.

Isn't that always the case Jenova!

I think I may have the internet stuff under control *fingers crossed*, but now I am soooo behind with my job and I am leaving for vacay in a week. I had the internet guy out practically every day last week and of course the internet would be fine and then go down as he was driving away.

CB - Maybe you have some special powers that you are unaware of???? I just had my palm read by a nurse who put herself through school by reading palms. She was eerily accurate and told me that I had some "gifts" of my own.

Well I haven't really. I have been dull and virtuous which is why my shopaholic tendency is brewing up so badly. This sinister and overpriced keyring is one of the things that I want.

... how much is it and where can I get one?!

*suzi*, I have a 'gift' all right, the gift to spend money in super-quick time!
Apparently my Granny was an avid tea-leaf reader though, so you never know!

Sinister and overpriced? It's so deliciously wicked that it would surely be a sin not to get it....
