Don't worry, anita! Just moisturize the life out of the bag every week or so, and it will keep mellowing out...the scratches will become less visible...
I have been doing this with my turquoise AP and it has worked really well. I have this weird fascination with the way leathers change with usage.

I'm in 'bad twist' today and I suspect it started off with me being woken up at around 5am by a barking dog (who is lucky to see another day I can tell you...) - I am not a morning person at the best of times, unlike DH and DS who are always annoyingly alert and cheery first thing.

I did go and get my hair done and it does look fantastic, but it's been sooo hot that I've been in a bad mood for most of the day. I've had the windows open, the back doors open and it's been even worse out in my suntrap of a garden. All things considered, I'm in an irrational grump!

I have been fighting my Income Tax battle again so have been in a truly foul mood. They told me on June 13 that they had finally found my lost (by them) payment. Today I received yet another a letter threatening legal action for the 'unpaid' bill. After a lot of fretting, fuming and phoning I seem to have tied this down to the local office being unable to transfer the money due to installing a new computer system. They hope to sort it out next week.

I have also been fighting with Mulberry over delayed delivery of sale goods. These now appear likely to turn up tomorrow, just when I don't want them to. They may also have sent me one item twice, probably therefore billing me twice and giving me an overdraft.

The third petty irritation cannot be remedied.

I don't envy your Income Tax situation one jot - it sounds a bureaucratic nightmare and extremely stressful. Just don't watch the film 'Brazil' anytime soon, until it all gets resolved.

I very nearly ordered a zodiac keychain in the Mulberry sale but had second thoughts. From what I've read their sale has been totally chaotic this year. Fingers crossed that you get what you've ordered in good condition, and just the once. Same with the billing.

As for the third irritation, well it's always the little petty things that seem to irritate the most I find ....

Exactly the same remedy as for stretch marks!

Me too. I could never get over my amazement over the way he could dance. Like liquid rhythm pumped through his veins instead of blood. My husband took a video of me trying to do the Moonwalk, and of course I look like a complete idiot. Like I'm trying to swipe dog poop off my feet, backwards. That video must be around 20 years old now? To this day, I still can't figure out how he did that Moonwalk. Maybe he's doing it on the real moon now.

I hope I am not the only person on this forum who clicked on your Anger Update. When it wouldn't come up for me, I mashed the link about 87 times before I saw the next 2 lines of your post. I fall for everything. One time my son told me the word "gullible" had been removed from the English language, and I went immediately silent while trying to understand what word the language people wanted us to use instead. I actually felt very angry that someone would dare to kill off a great word. Very funny, Jenova. I have to say that gave me a really huge smile!

Glad to hear that you had fun.

Shock announcement - I may actually have to turn my laptop off shortly and not look at tpf - it is emitting so much heat that I can't bear to be in the same room as it this evening.

I have my back doors and windows still open and it's still too hot. Apparently it's going to be even worse here next week - I can't wait.

I have been studying the Heat Wave warnings wondering how much more I have to defurminate my cats before next week. We seem to be less at risk down here by the coast.

A crackingly good, well-fitting, expensive, gorgeous bra.

Good question on 'defurminate' - I want to know too!

Please study the cat video here for your answer:

I thought the footage had been faked until I tried it. I got exactly the same results or better.
