tl, I like the sound of the TMA Midi in Dark Purple Matte and either the Charm Me Mini or WTM Midi in Apple Green.
That's not really much help though is it?! ![]() What you need are some cows in your alfalfa field for a bit, take your mind off it, and then hopefully all will fall into place.

Suzi - I have to agree with you on this. I kept waiting on Edward to appear for almost the entire book. I am currently reading Eclipse. I am definitely hooked. I also preordered the series True Blood. I am so into these vampire things...Might have to check out the BBC series Being Human as well. I have to ask my sister about it since she lives in the UK. [/QUOTE]HA....no worries....I just couldn't get over the whole Edward being controlling issue. AND, I hated how Bella would be in love with Edward but so drawn to Jacob. I guess that was why I was on his side from the beginning....he seemed more....well..."real"!! So, I need something new to read. I am in a literature void and only feel content when I have a stack of books yet to read. I just finished Marley and Me, and am reading The Mermaid Chair and another book titled Night by Elie Wiesel. I LOVE dark deep books, like the Twilight series (although, since it was written for adolescents, I found it a bit simplistic and boring at times). I loved Angels and Demons, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Kite Runner....and my favorite Shadow of the Wind.....I did just read Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice, and tried to follow up with The Blood Canticle, but just couldn't get into it. As you can see, I am all over the charts when it comes to books...... Any suggestions....True Blood was a series of books as well???? Perhaps I should try those! |

Need to box up some cows! LOL! I had a little talk with myself and said, 'self, you change your mind on these things like (couldn't think of anything clever to insert here so feel free to do so yourself). What do you NEED!? And then what will actually WORK!' I don't often ask myself what will work, I normally think I can make it work and that doesn't work out well in the end. But, I think for now I'd get more use out of the charm me mini. And I'm going to wait to see if any cervo pops up otherwise I'm thinking a cmm in the matte dark purple. And I need to wait and see if the tma midi choco matte bespoke gets off the ground because I do believe that would be awesome and very useful! Matte chocolate goes with everything! Maybe I should see if Jackie has apple green lining? Wouldn't that be gorgeous? Matte chocolate with apple green lining??! I may forgo apple green just because it quite possibly is one of those things that I think I want and then when it gets here I don't use. I am so very guilty of that as evidenced by my high handbag turn over rate. |

If Jackie has apple green lining I would get choco matte and green lining ASAP!!!
![]() I also think that it would look funky with the purple ...and in a good way!! tl dear, I totally know how you feel about the apple green vs. choco...my deal is that I love the apple green to death, but resist buying bags that I can only wear during part of the year (I do this with most of my clothing, too -- I layer, etc. so that I can wear things almost all year round!) Funny thing is I am debating the same bags and colors that you are!!! I love the way the choco cervo and matte choco look (and the tan, too) but can't bring myself to buy any even though I adore them because I have never ever actually worn any brown bag that I have bought. (This is very weird, I know). I am also scared of the apple green for the same reason -- that I love the color but not the color for me, per say. It's hard to tell what will work, you know? ![]() On another note: WHERE IS HOBO #2??????????? |

Re: Hobos in the street..numerous sightings
Jenova, I had to read your post twice. At first I was wondering if there was an increase in the transient population the way there is here in NYC. I am not being flippant, it's just that semantics and syntax often get in the way at times. Egads! Re: the BE hobo. Frankly, I didn't vote for a hobo, since just how many themes and variations can be executed on this style? I voted for the messenger because I was curious to see BEs interpretation. IMHO it is one of the more functional bags I own from another designer or two..or three. Now..if a ravishingly moody and dashingly brooding monosyllabic vampire named after King Longshanks of England, the Hammer of the Scots, was toting a BE hobo in the backwoods of Scotland, all the while posing as an undertaker and whose destiny is to begin a moony-swoony bedroom eyed love fest with an underage, pallidly whey faced teenage peripatetic female transplant namesake of deadly Nightshade from perpetually damp and dank Oregon, US of A who schleps her own version of a BE hobo in her perigrenations..perhaps then I might be more intruiged. |

I don't want to have to trail all the way up to Scotland to see him. It is probably raining worse up there too.
Can only stay here briefly - I seem to be 'constipated' again and fear the results. |

![]() A prune-colored bag does sounds pretty... ITA with you peeps. I voted for a messenger because I like to wear stuff cross-body, esp. if it's a smaller bag. And I also think that the TPF hobo and hobo #2 are driving me b.o.n.k.e.r.s at this point. I am trying not to spend any more bag money lately in anticipation -- and failing miserably.

You seem remarkably calm Jenova under the circumstances. A red mist descends over me when I have computer problems, and it's not pretty.

My internet protection service is still dire this morning. I shouldn't be on line at all. Maybe this will curb my internet shopping? I am hoping that the rain will stop and I can go off on weekend 3 of my trek round the Brighton Artist's Open Houses. (Have definitely spent all residual traces of my bag fund now but it was worth it.) |
