^^ you're most welcome.
The gold hardware on the Choco Crash Angel Purse is not my fav, but it was in one of the sales, and at that point, I hadn't decided if I could do a whole bag in a crash leather.
At this point, the Choco Crash is my favourite - or it better be, as I have a Hold Me, 2 MMS sizes, and an Angel Purse in it.

Karmenzsofia, the WTM is one of my most favoured styles EVER. You can't go wrong with any leather, but I do love the matte ones, or pewter for that extra flash.

GL in whatever you decide!!!!

Thankz Contessa. I know I'm going to love the WTM midi. Pewter is very tempting, but I think I want a Pewter Hold Me and should pick another color/leater for the WTM. I have several neutral bags (kuz I luv 'em!), so I could use some color for a change. I can't afford BE retail prices, so I'll have to keep an eye on the websites and see what pops up. This could take weeks or months...though if the Aubergine were on sale at BE, I would seriously consider getting that one--it's so beautiful!

OMG, those are amazing pictures Bluefish.

I love the aubergine. It is definitely on my wish list. My only concern is if it will be durable enough for this style due to the circles on the sides of the bags. I wonder if a pebbled or crash leather might be more durable? I have owned a pebbled, matte and a pewter crash WTM Midi. I adore my tan matte one, but I can see how it's possible that the circles might get a bit rubbed in time?

Personally, I think you should get a crash leather if you have never owned one. I love the pewter crash, and I think the chocolate crash looks amazing too.

Good point about the circles. That's very helpful Suzi, thank you.

I was looking at modeling photos last night and was very impressed with how good the crash leathers--all of them, including the plum crash--looked with just about any outfit. Because I've never seen leather like that in person, I still wonder what it feels like--if it feels just like any other metallic leather, if it's thick or thin, smooth or textured to the touch, etc. When it comes to bags--and to shoes...and clothes...and foods...and just about everything --I tend to be just as/or more influenced by texture than by visuals. I hope that makes sense.

Hi Karmen! I did at one point own 2 WTMs, but found I only needed one, so I have today a Plum Crash WTM Midi. It is very versatile...I bought it to use crossbody. I really want one in the Mini/Pewter combo. I am a big fan of Pewter leather...it is classic, gorgeous, and goes with everything!

Having said that, you may want to go with a lighter leather as the bag can get heavy. Pebbled leather is gorgeous. Also I would not discount the Choco Crash WTM Midi that is up on bonz right now...that would look great!

The metallics are a little bit textured, but not textured like pebbled leather. There are sort of patchy parts to the crash leather that makes it very unique - go look at the reference threads for closeups to see what i mean. I would consider it a smooth leather if i were to choose.

I don't think crash is a thin leather like bal leathers, at least compared to my bal bags (b-bag owners please chime in). It wears incredibly well for the use i put them through - cars, traveling on train, in my office - and i think you will be happy with the be crash bag sturdy construction and leathers.

Plum crash however develops a silvery patina over time, but if you love the leather, you'll be okay with that - i've gotten used to that!

Thankz for the info, mayajuliana. It's very helpful.

I thought the pebbled leathers are a bit heavier than the crash and sheen ones. In any case, I like these better than the PL for the WTM. I haven't seen a WTM midi in any of the leathers/colors I'm considering. The one you're talking about is the large/regular WTM.

KZ, yes, I agree with you. The pebbled glossy leathers ARE heavier than the crash leathers.

Love, love, love my black pebbled glossy WTM Midi. It is incredibly easy to carry and one of my two absolute favorite BE styles. Whichever color you end up deciding on, I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

I was just looking at my tan and taupe WTM's and comparing them to my pewter wtm. I have to say I think the crash leather is perfect for the wtm. If I had to choose one then I"d keep my pewter. It's much more durable too then my matte's (In my experience) and since I use this bag now mainly for travel day's that's key for me.

I love my pewter WTM but just for certain times as I struggle with the drawstrings too much (either they close too much or not enough etc..).

P.S. Pebbled leather would certainly be my second choice. You can't go wrong with Jackie's newer lightweight luxe. Love those!

^^lovebags, I have to admit that I NEVER use the drawstrings at all when I use the WTM. I don't like the look, AND it's way too fussy for me.

I think the WTM midi looks best when it's completely flat with the drawstrings NOT pulled at all. I think hipnycmom agrees (or, at least used to,) too!

^ ITA. Drawstring bags are my all-time favorite, so I've had many of them, and I've never used the strings to close and/or open the bags.

Thanks Jenny for this suggestion. I've tried using my WTM by closing the drawstrings and without using. And even when I go without the strings still seem to get in my way when I'm trying to just open the bag. They just dangle and that can be bothersome.

Right now I"m enjoying a very simple elegant hobo where nothing hangs or dangles and I adore that. Easy, no fuss and classic.

But, for when I crave pewter on vacation I'll definetely take out my WTM. The pewter is certainly worth dealing with the fuss once in a while.
