Now I know this may sound a bit stupid, but please bear in mind that I have never seen an SPM irl - have you sewn the braided flappy bit to the main body of the bag leather underneath just above the zip? I can see the difference OK between the top zip and the bottom zip and the top zip definitely looks better due to your efforts!

^ Yeah, I am a little (maybe a lot) confused too. I don't quite fully understand. Are the pockets sewn shut then to stop the bulge?
