I received a notice from the Post Office yesterday afternoon that I had a package waiting, so I was going to have to drive out to the PO this morning (they are open 8-10...yuck!) to pick it up. . Then last night at dinner I got a fortune cookie that said "A four-wheeled adventure will soon bring you happiness." Hmm...a good sign.

This morning I got up and headed to the PO, and it appeared to be deserted. The gate over the counter was down, and no one in sight. NOOOOOOOOO! So I was sad, and walking around looking at the new stamps thinking my fortune cookie had seriously misled me when I noticed a little blue door around the corner. On the door was a sign that said "insured pickups only, 8-10 a.m." WHAT??? I found a little doorbell looking thing and rang it, and LO...a little "mini-door" in the top of the little blue door opened and a lovely lady brought me my package.

Pretty, pretty! Always a classic...the grey! Your adventures with the post office made me think about my "near misses" with our P.O. too LOL! Congrats on your beautiful bag

A pic taken with a "real" camera...but with flash, because DH is still asleep! bonniekir, I can already tell the size is perfect, the color is fabulous, the handles and hardware are chunky and perfect for fall, and the shoulder strap is just the right length! Prospects for loving this bag are looking good! The only thing that could make this bag better is the dark grey lining, but I can overlook that!

Your pic using the 'real camera' (LOL! I can only use a phone myself...

) I think is the best pic of the dark grey matte I have ever seen, just gorgeous and I think it truely captures the chameleon type colour and sheen

I always pay attention to my fortune cookies. That was a great one. Love the dark grey. Definitely a favorite of mine. I'm so glad you like your new bag.

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments! And especially to cornflower blue for the high praise of my "color capturing"...it does seem to change in every light! Carried her to a little party at a friend's house tonight and grocery shopping right before...so far, so good.
