Hello ladies! I just saw a note on BE's Facebook page regarding saffiano leather that the tannery currently has in stock. Does anyone know about this or have seen this leather? I am wondering how it feels, how it holds up, etc...any information would be great!

I think the saffiano leather would be very popular. Any ideas what colors are offered right now? Is it a BEC option?

It looks shiny and super strong. And it has little dots?

I asked BE about it and it sounds like it is/will be a BEC option but not added to the website yet. On BE's Facebook page there are pics of all the colors currently in stock at the tannery. I love the Wine and the Vermillion!

Anyone have any Saffiano yet? This looks like gorgeous leather to me. It also looks like it'll wear like iron as do the pebbled leathers.

Hi! I just received my Yellow Bag. It is beautiful. The Saffiano leather is scratch and water resistant. I think it will be extremely hardwearing, yet it is still soft. I also the love the variety of colours it comes in. Also, it has a nice weight to it, not too light and not too heavy...perfect! x

I've seen the Saffiano leather and it's gorgeous.

I have 2 on order in the lemon yellow & pumpkin (which is reminiscent of an Hermes orange)

Here is the link to the photos. I always have problems uploading pics. About my bag - I did not have the magnetic poppers because I thought it would look neater. Now I wish I did have them as I would prefer this to opening the zip. I also have leather lined pockets which I love as I did not want purple lining showing on the outside of the bag, so I am always going to pick this option (I have included a photo). Light gold hardwired - this is a strange one. Sometimes you can notice it is a light gold and then other times it looks silver - I think I like light gold. Overall this leather really gives the London Tote a tote feel without being to rigid, the bag will retain it's shape. You can easily wipe it clean. I am sold on this leather. The leather on this on has a pebbled effect the other swatches are lined like the Prada Saffiano. I now want the London Tote in an array of Saffiano leathers. Xxxx

WOW. The Saffiano leather makes the London Tote look like a completely different bag! As beautiful as, but totally different than the snake print versions. You have brilliant taste! Gorgeous!
