I love petrol and petrol matte is absolutely gorgeous! I love BE matte leathers also. Congrats on your new beauty!

The group shot of the BE tags is very nice.

Yes, definately, The Petrol sheen has more green in it.

Are you now sure your matte collection is complete...?
It will be complete when I get my Mandarin Matte bag!!!! I'm so excited! I just posted that Jackie was able to find a Mandarin Matte leather! Then I'll have my three favourite colours in matte ... apple green, purple and now orange!

Edited to add: I think all the mattes has this pretty very slight sheen to them, with the exception of the Apple Green and Tan. You can see it in the picture .. it's just really a pretty finish. The Petrol Matte is just like that as well.

If you check out the thread "BE Bag Art" there are some photos of just the matte bags. :)
Holy CRAP (for lack of a more refined word), I this photo!! And you are so right...the mattes are divine...I personally like the matte version of the petrol best, it's beautiful.

I had to post these new pics. Ladies, I am LOVING this bag. When I first got it I thought "wow, this is nice ... leather feels soft, colour is pretty", but WOW ... I have been using it for a few days now and I have come to love it even more. The colour is GORGEOUS ... with that little bit of variation and that little bit of green in the colour ... it's STUNNING. It was soft to begin with, but just a few days of wear and it's broken in so nicely ... it just feels and looks SO good. Seriously, if anyone was on the fence about this leather ... GO FOR IT!! I think this leather would look amazing in alot of different styles ... especially the LM!

I've noticed in my photos even though all are in natural light the colour seems to vary ... once you take it outside in the sunlight, it's just becomes even more pretty. I'd describe it as a nice medium tone blue with stunning green undertones.

These pics were taken late this afternoon, no flash, in natural light.

Yes, these new pictures are so pretty, but I think these pics make it slightly brighter than it is in real life. The true colour is probably in between the first outdoor pic and these pics by the window in natural light. It really does seem to look different in different lights! I would suggest anyone who is interested but not sure, to see if you can get a swatch.

All I can say is after a few days of wear, I am falling more in love with this bag!

Thanks for the great pics.! I love the color of my petrol matte sample but wasn't sure how about the softness. Both the color and leather look fantastic.

I'm a huge fan of BE matte and love the idea of a bag in petrol. That WTM looks gorgeous in that leather. Congrats and thanks for all the great pics!
