Wow, what a great CS they have. This is unbelievable, never seen anything like it.
Owner personally responds and resolves the issues-amazing!!!
Not only bags are a dream come true from what I understand (I do not own one yet ) but the CS is something that many of us do not even get a chance to experience any more (I am in NY-high prices and low CS-I suppose they wash each other out?)

Jenny i just got a pre-loved LM midi (matte tan) and i really wanted something i could wear cross-body as i have three kids. however, i do find that it is just a bit too heavy and bulky for that. i had limited choices since i had to purchase pre-loved and WTM midis were not popping up too frequently, and not in the leathers i loved, so i am going to love this LM and make it work until i have an opportunity to get an WTM midi. soooo... long story short, since you originally wanted the WTM midi and you want something comfortable for crossbody, i would recommend accepting Jackie's kind offer.

I was browsing the website, and saw some bags I may be interested in. I just have a question about the checkout process.... if I entered the info for a Visa card, would the payment go thru immediiately or would there be some sort of delay? If you have ordered thru the website, what has been your checkout experience? TIA!

lovebags2 - i have the same issue with my LM midi that you do with the shoulder straps falling off. i don't know if i will actually use this solution out and about, but i have found that if i adjust the adjustable strap to its shortest lenght, it serves as a nice shoulder strap and stays put better than the two handles. it's a bit odd since it means essentially having two shoulder straps, but i guess people would have to look close to realize that. at any rate, i just wanted to share that option in case it helps you use your gorgeous LM more!!

i am sorry to hijack Jenny!

ETA, ok i am getting confused! Jenny i see that it was you who doesn't use her LM so my idea actually was for you! i think the rain here is getting to me!

Hmm.... Thank you. That's actually a good idea. I'll try it and see what I think.

I only have one LM style left in my collection these days due to this being a huge part why. That would be great if I found a way that I"d enjoy wearing it more. Even though I don't wear my LM often it still holds a very special place in my heart since it was the bag that introduced me to the world of BE!

I would take Jackie up on her wonderful offer. That's the bag you were after and she's offering to get it made up for you - go for it!

TXCoachGirlie, my credit card payments on the BE site normally go through immediately, but it depends on your bank. When using my debit card, I often have to call the bank if it's over a certain amount - they are paranoid about CC fraud, especially when it's international. I know it's for my protection, but it can be kind of a pain.

I have had my credit card company call and confirm the charge is ok, but other times not...but it has always went through just fine.

If it makes you ladies feel any better, I once had my cc company refuse a payment twice due to their credit fraud policies, and I'm in the UK!! Once I spoke to them they were OK and third time lucky, but it was all a bit embarassing! They said they were having a lot of fraudulent transactions in general recently and I've noticed that on my most recent statement they've got a paragraph about how they might call you to see if a transaction is genuine or not. Sounds like a sign of the times unfortunately. But at least they were looking out for me. (But why does it have to happen at the most inconvenient time??! LOL!)

Jenny, I"m thrilled to hear that you decided to try it. How can you resist a brand new BE modified exactly to your specifications.

As for the lining question in your PM - I'd go with fuschia or purple. I really LOVE the purple lining as my favorite and second would be fuschia. Hope this helps.

Oh wonderful, Jenny! I do think the WTM is the best cross-body bag BE makes, but the TME midi works very well for me too when worn this way.
