Ooo....I like both styles...my thought is that the more "bohemian" look is with the stitching...I would love to see that in a tan or natural cervo. The hobo without the stitching? I envision a lovely "classic" matte leather like the grey, taupe, or in a black crash!

I think the outer threading might look nice if it was placed between the parallel seams like on the navy hobo.

This way, it would be more like the threaded handle, where the thread is placed in the centre between the stitching. I think it would look more polished.

What do you think??

I like them both. I really like the long tassels. Not sure about the stitching though. I tend to like simpler styles.

I am usually not a hobo gal, but I do want a BE hobo. The dark purple looks fantastic, but it is not a colour for me. I think that I have to give this a little thought and wait for the messenger.

What I like least about the 'stitching' is the way that I can see the pale uncoated colour of the leather on all the cut edges, both those on the lacing strip itself and on the edges of the holes that it runs through. It doesn't look 'finished' to me and I think that this may show up more with use.

I do not care for the purple version, but love the navy one.

Ok....for those that don't like the stitching,

Jackie has said it can be ordered "with leather stitching, with cotton stitching or with no stitching at all on the front panels."

Veni Vidi????..jury is still out for me on both styles.

Will it be: Veni, Vidi Visa (I came I saw and I went shopping)

Veni, Vidi, Verily (I came, I saw and I concur with a specific opinion)

Veni, Vidi, Vamoose (I came, I saw, and I left without buying)

all I know is that Veni, Vidi, Vrai (I came, I saw and the truth is out there)

Wow beautiful bag. I love both versions but I think the one without the stiching (navy) is slightly ahead in my mind, purely because I love simple design. And I ADORE the purple pebbled leather!

I think the one without the stitching is gorgeous! The one with stitching is very western-looking to me. Which, actually may be cool if one played up that a bit by ordering it in matte chocolate or tan - it could make a very cool bag for your more hippie/bohemian type days.

Did anyone notice the extra stitching on the sides of the BE tag on the purple hobo as well? Very interesting....I personally WILL be getting something in the purple pebbled glossy!!!! It's exactly the "mid-tone" color that I was hoping for!!!!!

Love both designs as well, esp. the long tassels on the hobo (I am a tassel freak)...though I can understand the concerns about how all of the stitching on the hobo will wear with time. Hmmmm....

ITA. The version with stitching is very boho, and would look great as others have said in the matte, esp. tan...without stitching, I think the pebbled glossys would be amazing!!

I am thinking purple pebbled glossy for me, personally...not sure if I will go with the stitching, though.
