The Mulberry site has lots of Bays on sale right now for $699...and no worries about authenticity. I thought of you when I saw this one:

Not sure but I have heard that it does scratch.

I used to gaze at the lovely red alligator Bays that was a mere snip at around £7,500

- but somebody must have snapped it up(!) as it's not there now...

I miss it.
