Good question! The Bal I loved most was my Mogano/Cinnamon City. I do miss the depth of that brown and Dark Cherry seems quite close in color. I am trying not to think about Bal too much though. I really don't need more distractions at the moment LOL. I see my credit card giving me the evil eye

Ooh Jenova that's gorgeous! How's the leather? Is it thick and schmooshy? I've yet to get an agneau bag, so I'm intrigued as to what the leather is like. I think I'm gonna have to check out Selfridges later this week!

Quite strong but not plump and pillowy like an 05. Initially relatively matt surfaced but getting glossier fast with wear.

I don't approve of agneau. My Electric Blue City was too easily damaged. It had a beautiful shiney plump looking surface. I think that was a bad sign as it got little nicks fast and stretched unpleasantly. It also seemed to pick up dirt faster. This bag seems stronger.

I bought it for the colour. It is like a vivid deep orange moth perched in a rain forest just as the light is fading. It is a dark 'radioactive' orange, sinister and fascinating. The bag is as light as a moth too, even with all my usual mad contents.

PS - the bags in Selfridges vary - some have quite a lot of cracking and others are smooth. Lovelygarments Work and MU look much brighter orange than my City or May22's First.

Oh really? I haven't really followed all the stuff happening with the agneau. Are you still using your EB city or have you returned/sold it?

I'm lusting after something in orange. I like your description of it! I was looking at the Mulberry poppy/mabel, but don't think they're big enough for me. Plus I think I'm gonna get the brown snakeskin mabel and I don't like having duplicate bags. Now I'm debating between the mandarin day (but then I've already got an emerald day) or an MBMJ faridah in orange that's part of the spring 09 line. The latter's cheaper, but if I can use the 20% discount this weekend, well...
