Then again..I bought a pair of Stuart Weitzman last year for a party and it was about the same size as these CL's with a platform and they are rather comfy. Also...I do not buy anything REALLY when it comes to heels without an open toe so my wide feet can breathe. I have a pair of Manolo Campari (closed pointy toe) in Patent leather that KILL ME when I wear them. My DH calls them the home-to car-to restaurant-to car- to home shoes. They are visually nice.

Suzi/Sandy..when I was working I had a TON of heels from 9West and Via Spiga. The Via's always had a slight platform with Chunky heels and they were high too. I think I just gradually moved from the thick to stiletto heel as time went buy. I learned to balance better! WEDGES are the best by the way.

Audball...my sister is 5'1 and wears quite a few HEELS herself. She loves to appear taller as she has said! I think heels like this look great on smaller ladies because they have such CUTE feet! I have HUGE MONSTER FEET!

Daily...I wear my Dansko's /Nike's/J Crew boots as everyday footwear...but WHEN NIGHT arrives...the shoes COME OUT. FEDEX should be here soon...cannot wait.

Ok...will keep on checking on IGNES though I am fully committed to BE right now!
I totally agree about platforms! They make all the difference in the world! Oooh...off to go shop for new shoes!

Savvy - I have a few Ignes as well. If you talk to Ignacio he will give you direction as to what leathers work with what bag style. Some people love puddly leather and others like structure. He can usually give you samples of each grade of leather in one color. There are also leathers with special finishes available. Ignacio will send you whatever samples of leather you are interested in.

I like the Ignes clutches, as I am a clutch fanatic. Jackie, make more clutch styles...please

Audball - I called Saks at 10:00 am sharp to see if they had any of the bags that I wanted on sale and sadly they didn't. It was awful staying away since they did have loads of fantastic bags like Choos, Prada and Chloe. My poor DH begged me to go to Macy's (which is next door to Saks) so that I could pick him up some $148 Tommy Bahamma shirts that were marked to $39, but I told him that was like asking an alcoholic to walk by a bar that was handing out free liquer!

You will be happy to know that I have no regrets. I have started to realize that I absolutely hate paying retail, but I also don't believe in wearing anything I don't love just because it was expensive and marked down to 70% off. So, I will happily wait for my black crash TME and hope that it is my next favorite bag.

^^Awww....good thinking, girl! I'm with you on this - I hate paying retail, but what I hate even more is staring at a bag which was a "bargain" but not wearing it at all (which when you think about it, is certainly *not* a bargain!)...

You will be rewarded many times over with your black crash TME!

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw one at the airport, I had to stop myself from leaning over just to take a closer look!

Out with my sister wandering round in Brighton and just as we were getting near her flat in The Laines she says - just come into this little shop that sells gorgeous silk dresses by Sarah Arnett to have a look, they are very pretty.

It turned out that the shop was closing down for ever 30 minutes later on because the Credit Crunch was harming their retail sales and they were going to concentrate on on-line selling and distribution through Liberty's of London etc.

So I now have an amazing silk dress reduced to £40 (.........and a big half price Blush B-Lush bag which just happened to be sitting there trying to get sold too).
