I know, i know ...But it is fun to know what other BE lovers have been up to and learn about other styles and brands ...BEsides, i think it takes a lot for most people to get obsessed with a new brand when they are already addicted to another two or three... at least in my case! |

Thanks MK78 and Sandysandiego! I love my Kooba now but I thought the leather would be softer , more like BE leather. Now, I think the leather works for that style of bag and it fits everything!

Yes, these types of threads can get you into trouble!
Chica1 - I know what you mean about the softness of the leather! I just got 2 new bags (Ignes) that I do really like, but I found myself feeling the leather and wishing it were more like BE! Audball67 - I almost don't want to venture into the HH forum! My husband says that for me the Purse Forum is like a smoker who hangs out with other smoker talking about how great cigarettes are... Forunately I don't smoke! Here are my two new Ignes bags. And my Purple Lambskin Jumbo that is in transit! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Sandy--I run too and even tough my feet are wider now...I just go up sizes so the shoe fits comfortably! I use lots of cushions at the balls of my feet so the pressure stabilizes. I always say "MIND OVER MATTER" I look good! You should check out the CL forum on this site because these girls wear them walking in the city 24/7!! I want to but my lifestyle prohibits that! I will post photos as soon as I get them as I ordered 2 pairs so I can get the perfect fit! As far as cost.....I have spent so much for my shoulder and hands...my feet were feeling left out! ![]() audball...I NEVER knew you had such a fine collection! I love the Botkiers! ZuZU...love the scarf! Suzi...do you have Choo Shoes?? Man...you purses are to TDF...I was looking at a Jimmy in Chicago a few weeks back. LOVELY! |

^^Yes, Sandy I'm interested in your thoughts on the Ignes bags as well...! Your purple lambskin looks TDF...I may have to venture to Chanel to see this up close- I'm digging purple so much these days!
Zuzu, your Chanel is lovely too! I adore the Camelia detail...it's so cute and a perfect match to your scarf! Suzi, love the Choos...did you see that in-store the big Sak's sale is going on? I heard the sales on bags were crazy-nuts! Savvy, your CLs make me want to cry, they are so beautiful! Can it do all they say it can - can it make a 5'2" shrimp feel like Queen of the Universe? You will have to spill, since my highest heel is 2" and I only wear them for 10 minutes at a time LOL! Abi, that Bal blue is gorgeous!! Use it, use it!! And Maria, you so rock the Nikki! That's a fabulous style for you and it rounds out your BEs so well, since it's a completely different shape! I've always admired the Nikki style (I don't know why I don't own an RM yet - oh yeah...funds! LOL! But I would love a tangerine/orange colored one...so "fresh" looking!)... Isn't it funny that we have very similar tastes in shoes, bag styles, bag makers? I guess great minds think alike! |

Audball - I have that same Botkier Sasha Tote in Bordeaux Chica - That Talia is so cute. Savvy - I love your shoes! I have yet to buy any pumps over $100 because I wear them every day in the elements and ruin them. I don't know how you wear them that high? I tried on some super high shoe boots and my feet would be killing me in an hour. |

The Ignes leather that I chose is slightly structured - and I think they reinforced it a bit. The only other Ignes I had was a patent bag. They do have some soft puddly leathers. If you talk with Ignacio he will help you choose the best leather for the style of bag. I am hoping that this will soften a bit. I do love the size and style. The Mini Sofia doesn't normally come with the chain handles. This is the first one.
Savvy - at 5'5'' I love heels too! But after so many years of standing all day in heels (I teach) I started having some problems with my feet/legs being so tight. Now I have to keep it down to 2 1/2" for work! |

Suzi/Sandy..when I was working I had a TON of heels from 9West and Via Spiga. The Via's always had a slight platform with Chunky heels and they were high too. I think I just gradually moved from the thick to stiletto heel as time went buy. I learned to balance better! WEDGES are the best by the way. Audball...my sister is 5'1 and wears quite a few HEELS herself. She loves to appear taller as she has said! I think heels like this look great on smaller ladies because they have such CUTE feet! I have HUGE MONSTER FEET! Daily...I wear my Dansko's /Nike's/J Crew boots as everyday footwear...but WHEN NIGHT arrives...the shoes COME OUT. FEDEX should be here soon...cannot wait. Ok...will keep on checking on IGNES though I am fully committed to BE right now! |

I phoned Selfridges in Oxford Street and found that they had just received a delivery of Balenciaga RH City bags in Mandarine (a burnt orange colour). The leather sounded good so that was just to much for me to cope with and one is being sent.
The Bal Mandarine and Maldives bags were the big SS09 temptations for me. As the photos of Maldives look a bit insipid, this is going to be my big sin of the year. BAN NOW IMPOSED! |

Congrats... I am sure you'll enjoy that bag immensely... There's something very special about Bal that makes everyone (inclusing oneself) go WOW! I'd rather have one amazing bag than several that i love less.... |
