I would have loved to have posted pics of the Amethyst nico xx on this thread, since I am desperately seeking one!
But the seller on the bay only ships to US and Canada

How terribly cruel! I tend to ignore overseas sellers a) because they often won't ship to me b) because of the Customs risk.

Jenova-you're so right-it was cruel!
I allways pay taxes for items coming from outside EU, because our system is greedy-and in this case the amount is around 40% of the total incl. postage .
Bags are considered deluxe items-unbelievable!!!

I always try and ask them to make an exception... it works in 75% of the cases, especially if you have good feedback (including lots of bag purchases) and the seller is a tPFer...
I ask for the bag to be declared with a low value... This helps me avoid customs, but sometimes i am hit by horrendous fees ...

I feel bad about asking a seller to lie about a high and known value item like a bag for me and prefer to buy within the EU.

Do any of you BE ladies also enjoy Botkier? If so, how would you rate their quality of designs and leathers compared to BE?

Lol well I've been buying lots of other stuff whilst waiting for my bespoke bag...

First up is the Marc Jacobs grey mary. It was my first MJ boutique purchase and I absolutely love it!

Then I got the MJ soft box flap bag in slate off ebay, which is a dark brown with black/eggplanty undertones.

I went to a Jimmy Choo sample sale and came away with these babies - the Stay booties. I love the heel, although I'm not sure how much I'm really gonna be able to wear 4.5inch heels!

And then I couldn't pass up this bag. I love snakeskin and I've always liked the Mulberry Mabel style and this bag was a steal for an exotic. Plus it's my first proper Mulberry.

And somehow I ended up at a designer sample sale and I've been wanting a gold bag since I've since the BE mottled gold. I came away with my first YSL bag. It's the medium Capri Flap Hobo
