lccsue ~ a little while ago I looked up its spelling, and it is "f u c h s i a" ~ just the way Jackie spells it. I think what is most important is that we understand the color we're discussing rather than its odd spelling.

ITA with you, if I detested the color, I wouldn't be able to buy the bag, because I would hate looking inside of it each time I got something out or put it away.

I literally have several Gryson bags...all are lined with gorgeous soft TDF suede, and my shoulder ultimately pays the price for this added weight. Yes, it is luxurious, no doubt about it, although, it takes its toll on my poor shoulder. Is it worth it? Personally, I don't think so. This said, I prefer this striking fuchsia silk fabric lining to lighten my already heavy load, because I carry a lot of stuff around.

Lccsue, you got it right!

I'm not a pink person either, but the silk fuchsia lining is so rich-looking against just about any color in Jackie's collection, that it makes sense. It is her trademark, and the fact that it's light-colored so you can see inside is genius. I do like the contrast. Of course, I also believe a little slip-showing is okay as long as it's beautiful lingerie!

Ditto the fact that it's lightweight. I had a Botkier lined in suede (light colored, too -- bad idea!) and the extra weight wasn't worth the luxury factor.

However, if you can't live with the color, it'll bug you to no end every time you open the bag. I would feel that way if it was a muddy blah color.

Thanks dsrk! Have you ever seen the fuchsia LMM in real life? I am wondering how it looks with the fuchsia lining. I mean, is it EXACTLY the same fuchsia, or slightly lighter? I wonder if it looks strange.....I am so used to seeing the major contrast but in a fuchsia coloured bag, there would be no contrast at all.

Exactly! I was just thinking that if it was say yellow, which I personally am not fond of, I wouldn't be so enchanted by BE.
