Hi Belenista Friends,
Here's my BE issue on the day: I decided that I"d like a cervo Hold Me for Christmas. It's just the color I"ve been wavering over for a couple weeks now. I'd go back/forth between root and port (even dark grey). This morning I was chatting with Jackie and she thinks I"d really enjoy the dark purple. I hear it's quite special and nothing ordinary about it. From what I"m told it's rich and sophisticated! I can't believe I"m even considering a purple bag BUT I sure am. hehe And if I can rock pewter maybe I can purple too? It would be nice to break out of my habit for mainly choosing the neutrals and/or safe choices! ![]() Tell me ladies should I go for it or wait for the root or port? Opinions all welcome! |

The purple pebbled is definitely a beautiful leather and goes with a lot more than you'd expect! If you can do pewter, you can do purple! How many brown bags and wine/red bags do you have now? If you have plenty of those then I'd go for purple! If you need another brown or a wine bag, then wait for root or port. Seriously though, dark purple pebbled is a very easy color to wear!

Purple does seem to be a new nuetral color...can go with most anything...and what better way to try it then a hold me?? I think it looks gorgeous...
But I agree...port and root seem gorgeous too...so check the bags you already have before deciding... |

I happen to LOVE that color. It just has to be the right tone for me to enjoy it. IF it's dark/deep/rich then chances are I"ll love it. Then again I love burgundy and port seems to be just lovely. And then I love the brown/pink combination! Oh dear.... P.S. Does anyone here have dark purple pics? |

^^Go to the shopping section and look under the group bespoke for Purple Pebbled Angel Purse. Scroll through until you find a great photo. The picture of the handbag is what sold me that I wanted more than an angel purse in this leather...
I should get my bag next week when I am in the U.S. It is FedExing now, as I speak. CANNOT WAIT for this puddley, minimal handbag. |

Does purple go with a lot of the colors you wear? I'd be more of a Wine person, but it really is a pretty purple.

LOVE BE bags; I'm following her on Twitter! I agree that Purple is (surprisingly) very neutral... personally, I'm a huge fan of whiskey and portabello shades!

I tend to stay away from browns/blacks in my wardrobe and gravitate more toward colors. I know go figure I"m scared to pieces over color in my handbag but then I will LOVE wearing my fuschia or lavender top. On a typical day you'll find me wearing blues, fuschia, wine, lavender and even orange in the fall. Vibrant colors look great on me. But, then if I"m wearing a bright color I go for more of a neutral handbag. Does that make sense? Hm... Maybe purple would be too much and I should stay with port or root now that I"m thinking? |

Oh boy - I just looked at more pics closer of the dark purple and it does look stunning!
What colors do you think look best with? I"ll have to take a peek in my closet and see if I can make this work. What I enjoy about pewter is I don't have to think about. I just know it will go with anything I'm wearing. I like that! But, I"m looking now for something more muted for an everyday/carefree look! Have I confused everyone yet? |
