lovebags..I think both the Root and the Purple will suit you just fine. Both colours are so neutral and not- smack- in- the -face at all! But if you want some heads turn..chose the Orange..lol
I use my Hold mes all year long..even in the Winter when snow is falling down..I also love the easy use with this style

Purple is beautifully versatile (I have an Aubergine MMS and am waiting for Dark Purple Adore Me) but if you don't want to go for that, I'd suggest Port (ok, I'm lusting after this colour myself)!

Darn ladies, you're making me want a second hold me and my first isn't even out of 'alterable' status!

I wish they'd make some Maxi's in stock.

I'm glad to hear that you're trying a purple bag. I've been in a "love it/not sure about it" mode with my Purple Glossy LM Midi since I got it in January. I'm back to loving it and I think it will stay that way. I mainly like it with white and cream tops, which is good since I wear a lot of light tops with jeans/shorts in the spring, summer, and early fall. I probably won't use it much in the winter because I'm not crazy about how it looks with the black and grey clothes that make up most of my winter wardrobe. However, that is okay with me because I have other BE bags that are perfect for the winter.

From what I've read, it sounds like the purple that you ordered will not be as bright as the purple glossy that I have. That should make it more versatile.

Yay purple! It's a fabulous color for fall and winter.

I've had a purple bag on order from the leather sale for what seems like forever and I can't wait for it to get here.

Hi Everyone,

Well, I DID IT! I purchased the dark purple HM yesterday.

And now I can't wait to receive.
I"ve been wearing my tan HM these past couple days and It's becoming addicting. I love the sheer ease!
