Jackie has just asked me to post pics of the Surprise Me after it has been modified to prevent the pocket flaps from pulling back off the zips on the threaded side of the bag. This looks like it will do the trick to me. Really looking forward to getting my next bag!

Is the Surprise Me solely a messenger bag for wearing crossbody or can you wear it on one shoulder?
Anyway that aside, it does look as is the gaping problem has been sorted out (thank goodness!). Jenny, I'd email BE and see what they say? |

We CANNOT have the bag modified, as they've changed construction of it entirely.
I'm going to have to take needle and thread to it, I suppose.... |

That's too bad that we can't alter our pewter spm's. But, if it's an entirely different constuction then I can see where it would be impossible. I can't wait to receive my port spm and compare it to the pewter. Why do I have this feeling I"m going to absolutely love my port and wish my pewter were the same?
