Cool My week old EM....and pics!
Ok....so I've been wearing this gorgeous piece of arm candy for the past week non-stop and I love it as much if not more than when I got it!

Leather is fab.......closure is fab........the lining is AMAZING......the strap drop is perfect.........I can find things in a pinch.......fits everything perfectly and then some. I've gotten a ton of compliments........I'm extremely pleased with this bag

I also LOVE the outer hand-threaded stitching.....perhaps it's because as a glass artist, I love all things hand-made....it adds a personal touch and I love that. I love the fact that my bag is unique and was made especially for me.

Here are some pics. Despite a broken toe (yes....I broke my toe -the one beside the big toe on my left foot). Did this while unloading the dishwasher......a large glass bowl fell on it. Lovely. I'd post a pic a la "Helmut Newton" but I'm not in the mood.

Btw.....I've included a pic of the bottom to show you how unstructured it really is, but that it keeps its shape perfectly.

And just for the record, there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING I would change about this bag.....well.....maybe longer tassels......I think if they reached the ground they still wouldn't be long enough lol!

Here are some pics!

The bottom!

TessaMia, how long are the tassels? How many inches? I'm counting 3 on each side, right? And are there more tassels on the back? I just joined your Choco Matte EM bespoke for this bag. You are still doing that bespoke, right? What is the delivery you were thinking about? The longer the better for me, but I don't want to delay anyone else's excitement over having it sooner.

Moonfancy....I love you!

Bali Girl has joined this bespoke as well.

I don't think we'll get 5 others to join us, but how does an end of Aug/early Sept delivery date sound???

Tassels are approx 20" I believe. I should have gone for 30"!!

20" tassels? Okay, see, because I ordered mine to be all different lengths. I don't want them to all be the same length. And I'm having the little gold cubes attached to the ends because I like bright, jingly things hanging on my bags. How many sets of tassels are there? Two in the front and two in the back, or just two in the front?

Well, I REALLY wanted an orange bag, but chocolate leather is just so timeless, and I know I would get tons more use out of it, you know? I'm trying to buy things I do really and truly need, and my chocolate crash MMS midi is too small. So I don't have a brown bag. Is the choco matte pretty tough?

Moonfancy, I can't wait to see what your tassels will look like!

The choco matte is STUNNING!!

Here's my former LMMidi

Thank you for the pics, especially the third one - none of the BE website pics show the details on the ends of the bag, and they really are lovely and elegant. I'm beginning to feel some serious love for this style.

Agreed! The stock pics don't do this bag justice...your bag is so gorgeous, Contessa!! Just the right amount of edge, yet simultaneously timeless. The size is perfect, too.

I see myself getting this bag in the dark purple, and then red!! (I sold my Ruby Bal Day in preparation, heh heh).

Contessa,

Do you think the oversized EM would be TOO big??? I am 5'8 and not afraid of a big huge bag. But I don't want to look like I am carrying a sleeping bag on my arm or anything. I have several bags this style and they are all large! Do you have a TMA that you can compare your bag to??? I think I saw those pix somewhere but can't recall where.

Thanks, you're a peach!

Thanks for the pic of the end of the handle. I think that is the best feature of the whole bag - really lovely!

Thanks for the update! The more I look at the bag the more I think pb.lux is the leather for this style! It is a bag meant to be slouchy, so I'm wondering how the matte leathers will behave?
So sorry about your toe!

Oh, someone please post more about this! Bonnie, do you think the matte won't do as well at the pebbled luxe? Who has both pebbled luxe and matte? I don't have either, so I have NO idea about this.
