Moonfancy dear, I don't have an EM (YET - ) but I too was a bit iffy on the whole matte leather in the EM style...until Contessa reminded me to look at the stock photos of the matte tan EM that Jackie gave us. Check them out!

Matte Tan Enchant Me Bespoke

Now I am convinced.

You so much, Loquita Sweetita (I made that last part up.) The pix prove the EM is also gorgeous in the matte leathers. Yay!!

[QUOTE=Contessa;11521306]I don't think we'll get 5 others to join us, but how does an end of Aug/early Sept delivery date sound???/QUOTE]

Why can't we get 5 more for this besoke? Do you mean that too many others who want the EM in different colors? I know this weather is hotter than an old spinster in an asparagus patch, right now but before we know it, autumn WILL be here, along with it's perfect timing for chocolate bags. As for my timing situation, I'd need to wait longer than what you proposed. I can't do it that soon. But y'all go on with the delivery you'd aleady decided for this bag. I can't/won't ruin someone else's bespoke. I can save the $$ for my EM bespoke as to not mess up y'al's plans, okay? Then we'll have such fun postihg our bags! Of course, I'll have to get KatieFin to post mine!

Good evening my Lovelies!

Spent the day getting x-rayed and supposed rest, but with 2 kids getting rest is about as realistic as snatching one of Gga's Hermes bags from under her nose.......ain't happening!!!

What delivery date are we thinking of here??

Vixnkitten you Vixen you......!!!!! Speaking of size and bags.......and I'll leave my DH out of this......... I have to say that if my black pebbled luxe EM was larger, I wouldn't be upset. The EM is SUCH a gorgeous bag that in my opinion, the more of it to love, the better. In fact, if I decide to order another pebbled Luxe EM, which no doubt I will, I'll try the larger size.

I can take pics of my EM and TMA if you like, but I'll tell you that the TMA is larger and more wide whereas, the EM has a gorgeous tapered shape that starts off more narrow at the top and wider towards the bottom. A completely different bag that you really can't compare.

Thanks for the enabling Contessa. I went ahead and placed a Couture order for a Choco Matte EM. The leather haunted me ever since I saw it on my Be Mine bag. It was the leather I adored on a style I didn't. I am sure this Hobo is going to be divine.

I hope your toe is better. That should teach you not to unload the dish washer! LOL

Your bag is gorgeous, Contessa... looks like the perfect classic black hobo...

Thanks for the pics. I love the look of the EM.
I'm sorry about your toe. I know it hurts like hell before it's taped but I hope you'll get well soon.

Thanks a million!

I was thinking about another members' comment here about the stitching resembling some DIY kids project

I tell you......if my kids came home with a bag that looked like this, I'd be thinking I've got some AMAZINGLY TALENTED kids here!!!

Hahaha..very funny. Well, I am totally void of any DIY talents whatsoever, so I get impressed by everything!

Can you tell me if a dog's nail can get caught in the stitching ?? My guys jump up and down and almost ruined a BV bag completely by getting a nail in between the woven leather!

I wish your toe well

Bonnie.....I don't think your dog's nail would get caught. The stitching lays quite flat against the bag.

I just cringed at your BV story.....yikes!

My toe has a "crack" according to the report, which to me, means "fracture"!!! I tell you....the x-ray tech was a winner.....and if my toe wasn't fractured before, SHE fractured it with the way she was manipulating my toes.......apparently, my big toe was in her way....so I suggested we lop it off if it makes it more convenient for her.........she didn't find my humour amusing......and believe me.....I paid for it!!!!
