Default My Reviews!
Hello BE Friends,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Guess what I"m doing at the moment? I"m sipping my Breve Latte and that happens to be my FAVORITE Starbuck's drink that I don't indulge in too often but when I do it sure does bring a smile. I thought this would be a special review deserving today of a special latte. Are you ready? Here goes:

Let me start by saying that I couldn't be more delighted with the package I received last night. I almost didn't open it until this morning after a busy day running around with the kids but I"m sure glad I changed my mind. I"m thrilled.

The port SPM is just gorgeous. It's like an entirely different bag from my pewter SPM. You wouldn't even recognize it to be the same style to be honest. Between the new details and the incredibly rich color - WOWSERS. I'm delighted. This bag is worth the price and you know that I don't say that very often ladies.
The port is definetely just like everyone has said - an incredible neutral. I can't think of any color this wouldn't work well being paired with. I"m sure I"ll discover one or two as it unfolds but off the top of my head I can't think of one yet. Yippee!!!!!
When I look at the port at times it looks like a deep brown and then in other lighting you can see deep burgundy tones. Perfect. I love a bag that has depth and variation. This sure does. And let's not forget how lightweight this leather is. Wow. The only drawback I noticed was one scratch mark on it already. I'm assuming that I did that myself out of my excitement opening it from the package. You should see me. I"m like a little kid again. LOL But, I"m going to ask for suggestions and I have hopes it will buff out. Hopefully! And if not, it's really not that noticeable anyway. Nothing will stop me from enjoying this beauty not even a mark or two! This is THE NYC bag that I've always wanted!

Now onto my tan weekender set:

This is absolutely GORGEOUS. That said, it's definetely not for the weak hearted. This will definetely scratch and mark IMHO. But, you know what? I don't care this time. It's that pretty. It has this rustic Indiana Jones look that I just adore. I"ll wear it for years and actually smile with the markings on this one as I'll know it's because I had a GREAT vacation with my family. Each mark will symbolize a new vacation and that's a good thing in my book!

The pewter WTM is lovely too. This one I"ll probably only wear on occasion since it definetely has a little bling factor going on but it's the type of bag that will bring a smile to my face when I do bring it out. It certainly won't be my everyday bag. But, that's okay. I need not just everyday bags but those "special" ones just as much in my collection. This IS it!

I hope my review helps. Please be patient with me re pictures. I"m currently without my digital camera (long story) but hope to have pics for everyone soon.

If anyone has any questions about any of these bags please feel free to PM or ask away.

Thanks everyone for your kind support on finding my BE joy again.

I'm glad you like them! Did you get the tan weekender in the thick tan or regular? I'm really looking forward to seeing your SPM!

That's a great question. I got it in the regular/new tan. I like how soft that one feels. Almost like a velvety texture.

Happy for you, Lovebags! Enjoy! The bling will calm down on your WTM. I'm jealous of the port SPM. And your tan travel set...to die for. Indiana Jones is right. The scuffier it gets, the better. That's how I treat my choco weekender.

Glad to hear that the SPM is a success. I bet it is simply gorgeous in that lovely colour.

Tan leathers definitely look best when they have got a vintage look to them.

Good for you!

I'm glad to hear that you like your bags!

They all sound like success purchases.

But I must admit my Tan set is not that scuffed at all...and this is with dogs not caring whát they use as pillows in a car...lol...only thing that seems to happen is with the colour as is that it darkens a bit and the leather gets very soft!

Enjoy!

They all sound very nice!

I agree that the tan looks best broken in- it gets really smooth and the color variations are so pretty.

Lovebags-I am so happy that you are loving your new BE's! The port sounds amazing! The tan is a bit delicate but oh so pretty. Whenever it gets a little scratch a little leather conditioner and all is good again. And you got a pewter WTM! I am so jealous!

Enjoy your fabulous BE haul!

I'm jealous of the weekender set. There is a tan one on Ebay right now, but I think it is the smaller size and I'm a bit more high maintenance! Maybe the next sale? Congrats on your bags, Lovebags. I'm glad you like them after all of that trouble you had.

Glad my dear you finally got the tan and even more thrilled that you will appreciate its use and aging as time goes on! I still use mine (just this past weekend, in fact) and I love it. And it's not that scuffy!
