What a gorgeous bag - TG is right you are one chic lady. I love this style and I have a black crash and the crash leathers are just amazing.

I've liked the SPM since the first time I saw it--love that style and all the details. I didn't know there was a new-and-improved black crash leather. Judging from the photo alone, this one seems smoother, less wrinkly, but most importantly, it looks amazing. Thanks for the photos Contessa and Kongratz on your new black beauty!

Of course, another complete on target purchase from the lovely Contessa! That bag I am imagining looks smashing with your new 16 stone Tiffany ring!

Contessa - I love your new SPM! Black Crash is my favorite leather and I think it looks great in the SPM style.

I like the size of my Pewter SPM. I don't think I would want it any larger other than maybe making it a little deeper. I think it's just right for days when I don't want to carry much.

Thanks Everyone for the kind words & compliments.

I wore this bag to work yesterday and love it. It can be worn both messenger style or on the shoulder & looks great either way.

Was thinking about the size issue & I still wouldn't mind it being a bit bigger, but I think my mistake is wearing this one as a main handbag as opposed to just sticking a few things in there for those "light" days.

What do you all think the "purpose" of the SPM is?? And can it be used as a day-to-day handbag???

I don't use my SPM as a daily bag, it's too small. I do enjoy it for when I just need basics and will be walking around a lot.

The style looks gorgeous in black crash! I think I'd like a black crash WTM messenger to go a little bit bigger.

Thanks Citychris. Perhaps the WTM messenger is the way to go on this one!!! Thanks for the suggestion

I ADORE this bag don't get me wrong....but I'm finding that I'm more of a handbag girl. Even the WTM (regular) is a better fit for me. I consider that bag to be my ideal messenger!

On a positive my 8-year old daughter is in la-la-LOVE with this bag, so it might have to go under the tree this year with her name on it......to be worn under supervision & special occasions only!

Contessa,

Your such a sweet mom!

And thanks for your honest review on the SPM. I can see where you might enjoy your wtm more as a messenger. You loved that style from day one!

Awwww.....thanks Lovebags

I've only recently begun wearing my bags messenger style and it's really only been with the WTM. Seems to suit me too.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the SPM....could see how this style is addictive for someone who wants a light bag to go. But I'm more of an old-fashioned "handbag-kind-o-gal", with the WTM being the most messenger-like I'd ever go!

There's a gorgeous choco crash WTM on Bonanzle right now I have my eye on......looks MINT too! Very tempting!
