I think the circles are meant to keep the corners more rounded and help give the bottom more structure since the bottom of the bag itself isn't rigid like the styles with metal feet. And since it's a messenger style meant to mold to your body, you wouldn't want a rigid bottom.
Personally the circles don't bother me. It adds a design element. |

I agree. I noticed the circles too but I thought they were cute. |

I am late to this party...boy! My mom is in town so I feel a little loss. i have to say this:
Lovebags2--The crash's are metallic's. totally agree on if you do not like metallic's--stay away from it! I really liked the hug me a lot until I saw it on the model. Now, not so much. I am drawn to the Whisper to me, but in the midi. It is very cute and I love the messenger strap. That Chocolate Crash is prettier than I thought, I like it more than my Purple Crash now. I will have to wait until I get the swatches to make a more clear decision, but I love the WTM Midi now--never did before. but also, never noticed those circle either...but it gives it character. |

Wow - look at us BE ladies, so many posts in the span of a day?
Anyway so I wanted to like the purple crash so much because i missed out on the regular purple (still kicking myself about it) :( - but I am honestly not feeling it. The pictures look very metallic to me and I keep thinking metallics are too seasonal for me to spend so much on a bag. I do want it to last and last for seasons to come. I might just stick with black crash - I have always loved that colour. |

I have to say that I'm a bit worried about the metallics for me...even the chocolate crash might be too much. I still really like the Hug Me but am so smitten with my new LM Midi that I might need to sit on that one for awhile. I really love metallics on other people; I just know enough about my style to appreciate that I really can't pull it off!

tenmosquito ~ which style bag are you interested in again? I think you told me but I can't recall...mk78 is trying to organize a bespoke Purple Love Me with gold h/w, but no bites yet.
Well, once you view the swatch samples you'll get a better idea; although, they are far too small to give a true reading of what the bag will look like. I dig metallics, so I'm just going for it. I don't care if the Crash bags are flashy, as my clothing is classic-conservative and unremarkable, so I can use a bit of a good POP! The bottom line: get what you absolutely love and adore!! If you don't, then pass. Buyer's regret is not a pretty thing and miserable to live with. |

I saw the thread for the Purple LM - I already signed up. But I would want to have it for silver hardware. I wonder if it would help if I still signed up. I also already told Ashley about my interest... I hope there will be 6 more people interested! |

I stumbled across the thread for the fall 08 collections and had no clue how amazing the bags and leather swatches were, granted this was at 2am where I live in England!!! My faves were the TME in Petrol and the WTM in Chocolate or Purple crash, wasn't sure which size to go for though as I do LOVE big bags...HOWEVER, when stumbling across this thread with all the visual aid for the WTM in both sizes I can't help but wonder why those two circles at the base of the bag?!!! I know someone on here said it was to give structure to the bag etc. with it being a messenger style, but I really felt it has put me off the bag and I was so eager to pre-order
I don't feel it is in keeping with the seamless fluidity of the lines of the bag..maybe it's just me but had there been an alternative means, maybe a less visible one, for giving the bag a little structure 'sans' circles I would have jumped at it..maybe I'll just wait and see. Everything else about the bag is GORGEOUS, it's just those two darn things!!

I can't seem to determine the color on the full size WTM in these pics....it looks like it is a chocolate or brown, yet on the pre-sale fall brochure the only color listed that is not crash is the petrol, black and dark grey glossy? Is this the dark grey glossy or a prototype in another color? I see that the WTM Midi is choc crash, but trying to find out the color of the full size. Thanks in advance. Sorry if the info was given somewhere and I missed it.
