To me the colors on the WTM look like chocolate crash and pewter crash...I guess we shall see!

lovebags2 ~ I ordered the Hug Me in Black Glossy and Matte Chocolate. I love the Purple Crash, although I'm just not feeling the love after viewing this modeling photo.
The regular size Whisper To Me is not cast in the best color. In fact, I would venture to say that this color does this style a tremendous disservice. If this is all I had to go on, I definitely would not order this style in any color. In stark contrast, I'm really digging the modeling photo of the Chocolate Crash Whisper To Me Midi as shown ~ it ROCKS!!!

Hmmm, again, I don't think this purple crash photo is true to the color, do you dsrk? It is SO hard to capture, but it looks way more metallic in these photos to me...

I think the chocolate and plum crash are both metallics based on the samples I received.

Purple is really in for fall, but I'm not loving this metallic color.

I have never seen the black crash IRL. I have heard it is amazing, tho.

bag_queen, the black crash is shiny and crackled -- it's awesome! |

These are very poor quality modeling photos. ~ they're very homemade and lack a professional touch. The lighting is all wrong. I'm extremely disappointed in them. To me, these would be helpful if some were taken outdoors in the sunlight, indoors in an office setting, perhaps with diffused natural lighting in a restaurant, or worn on a shopper inside an upscale mall, or taken at an outdoor shopping center.
The Purple Crash doesn't look like this in the swatch sample. Both its color and sheen are understated, not glaring or garish as depicted in this photo. Also, is this bag stuffed with paper, rather than filled with items a woman would carry in her handbag? Again, I'm disappointed, as these photos do an injustice to the styles, their colors, and their drape. But, this is just me...others may not feel or think the same. |

I don't know how anyone could say the purple crash isn't metallic unless it is a really bad photo because this looks like crinkled mylar. Do you have a purple crash bag-- is it darker and more understated in rela like like th swatch? |

bag_queen, I don't have a pc bag, but I did see the swatch irl, and it is very sophisticated, very deep and in no way resembles mylar! These photos of the pc are really awful. I'm sure that Jackie is probably working with models and photographers to get some really good promo shots of this bag (I used to work in artist management so I know how it goes!). I think she just took these to rush them out to us as a courtesy.
glossy black = slight shine, pebbling black crash = shiny, crackled (but not overly so, if you know what I mean) Both = very durable |
