Oh, no, I'm so sorry! I hope he's only missing and shows up. What is the airline going to do? Will you at least be somehow compensated? I'm just so so sorry. How awful.

Big hugs from Spain... not very likely, but if i find this cheeky pewter rascal touring Spain, i'll nag it and send it back to the US in the next flight...

Moonfancy ... sorry to hear about your bag! That's horrible. :( I hope somehow they are able to find it. It's one of a kind though so if it shows up somewhere then we'll all recognize it!

Moonfancy - Please say it isn't so, and Mr. Pewter has shown up. Who would do such a terrible thing?! Mr Pewter is such a unique, amazing bag that I just know a Belenista will find him. I love that bag. This whole thing just makes me sick. I'm so sorry.

Moonfancy, so sorry to not hear any good news update from you. Mr Pewter is just so good looking and irresistible that I fear someone has been tempted to claim ownership of your gorgeous bag. I feel for you, as I have lost bags myself when I have flied solo, after leaving them when I am drowsy from air sickness pills. Best for my bags when I travel with family or companions, or otherswise need to sit wearing my bag with a messenger strap! Still hoping this works out for you.
