I think you'll be twisting and turning to reach into this one, then, bonniekir. I don't even try to reach into it when it's on my shoulder. I drop it off my shoulder if I need to reach into it.
There's a messenger feature possible on this bag. It's a truly dreadful look on me, so I don't use it at all. (when I wear it with messenger, the widest part of the bag seems to hit at the widest part of my behind. not a good idea for me, lol) For someone else, though, the optional messenger strap might make all the difference in the usefulness of this bag. |

That bag looks gorgeous on you!
And BTW, stop describing yourself as "not skinny"! You look fantastic!

That looks lovely on you. The orange doesn't look as super bright when you wear it ashttp://forum.purseblog.com/purseforum/editor/separator.gif it does in the photos - it looks very wearable. It also looks a good size on you - I'm three quarters of a foot shorter than you, do you think your sized bag would be stupidly big on me? Also, you say it's possible to wear it as a messenger - is this why there is the option to have the detachable straps?! I was kind of puzzled about that option...

I don't think the regular size EM would be stupidly big on you at all, sgreg. And yes, the messenger strap was the reason the handle was changed to a detachable strap.

Thanks.gga..as I see it, since I use the messenger a lot, this style and me ( i.e.my bottom) won't work so well together

The Love Me is my go-to messenger option almost every time. I do have to say, though, that I'm a huge fan of the EM. |

Thanks for the pictures, gga. And interesting comment regarding the messenger strap. That option is actually one of the appealing features to me. Need to rethink this :)

It's not a flawed/problematic design, it's a flawed/problematic body issue, lol. |

LOL..gga..I think there are other bags more suitable for my bottom at least
![]() I think we all know this is your experience and your opinion, but it did help a lot with your latter pictures for me to decide! Thanks again. I have bad shoulders and I feel this style is mainly to be used on the shoulder, so I would have to use the messenger in order to carry it. Then I feel the point with this bag is sort of gone.. Though I must say it is a beautiful designed hobo! |

And when I was younger, my rule used to be that I had to have a handbag bigger than my behind. As I got older, I realized that I'd have to either change my rule or end up carrying around a European Tour-sized suitcase. |

gga, thanks again for your opinion. It's very helpful. I hope you're not offended (that's not really the right word but I can't think of another) about what I wrote regarding rethinking the Enchant Me. I just meant that I didn't think about the possibility that the Enchant Me may not look good messenger style. So I need to take that in consideration.
I'm still contemplating preordering the midi size in port. I'm 5'1, small frame and think that this bag might be great for me, both hobo and messenger style. I tend to over think and mull over my purchase obsessively before making the decision. That's why I was very interested in your pictures and thoughts about this bag. I don't have a true hobo, maybe this could be it :) |

Oh no, not offended at all!
Lol, I was worrying that maybe *I* would offend someone by being too forceful or something with my opinion. I hope you find your absolute best hobo, serenerun! |

Thank you so much for the modeling photos. It really does look smashing on you! Forgive me if I asked this already but do you find the outside pockets difficult to get into?

I rarely use outside pockets, asbb. I'm not sure I've even unzipped the ones on this bag. The only time an outside pocket comes into play is if a) it comes without a zipper and b) I'm traveling and need somewhere to stash my ID and airline ticket when I'm inside the airport. Other than that, I don't use outside pockets.
So I'm no help at all on that one! |
