Lexie,

I agree that the choco matte leather is extremely beautiful and very rare--it is one of BE's signature leathers IMO. I'm so happy that the leather met your expectations.

I will say this...in the past, some of my most favorite bags were ones that didn't 'wow' me but that I realized were really perfect for my lifestyle. They were the right structure, beautiful, and very comfortable...like those perfect pair of jeans.

I hope you really get a chance to enjoy this bag. It is lovely!

I think the Matte Choco will be enhanced as time does by. It's so close to my Original Tan that is so soft now I am sure it will do the same. It is a bit stiff out the of the box but you can tell that stiffness will be gone very soon. Tommorow I can get an inside Pic. I chose the original Fuchsia and it is gorgeous against the brown.

Lexie, thank you for your excellent review and pics. Really helped me. You described the size really well for me. When I saw modeling pics of the tpf/be winner, the bag looked enormous, but you have described it just right. The choco leather is stunning. This will be your perfect slouchy shoulder bag -- and will look good with everything. Enjoy. And let us know how it breaks in.

Thanks for your detailed review and gorgeous pics., I'm glad the color and leather are what you wanted. I'd love to see modeling pics. and hear more after you've had a chance to carry your EM.

How wide is the opening of the bag? Could you easily fit magazines or file folders? Also, how heavy is it?

The bag could easily carry files or magazines. It's got a rather large opening. It's a clear open access to your stuff and you can see everything when you open it. No black holes. Here is the inside and a pic of my 6'4" 255 lb Hubby wearing it. The bag is very very lightweight but still substantial. No worry Tropical Gal.....it is NOT enormous.

It's beautiful! I have wondered about this same style/leather combination so I am happy to read your review.
