Hi Ladies! Well. I bought a bag I never thought of buying...but suddenly it just seemed like the perfect bag to own.
I was looking at Enchant Me...and I'm Beautiful... and...trying to decide...but then... I'm currently, happily, using my black pebbled TME Midi and loving the soft, slouchy leather...and I had the idea this cervo luxe leather would make the most elegant Hold Me -- so casual but luxurious...and then I looked at my purple suede moccassins and realized a purple pebbled leather HOLD ME would be just the thing! So, I ordered it! This was a total surprise to me. I was thinking about shoulder bags, laptop carriers...and I really have enough of those. I wanted a puddley, rich looking leather, minimal bag. How cool will this be with my "jeans and a white shirt"? Or, black slacks and black sweater...with a deep purple handheld bag. Sigh. ![]() Has this ever happened to you????? |

A purple pebbled leather Hold Me sounds great! I've thought about trying a Hold Me in the past because the style seems to be popular. However, I know that only shoulder bags work for me now. Maybe that will change someday...

I did something similar a few weeks ago.
As soon as the I'm Beautiful was announced I've been thinking about it. Heck, I was thinking about a Belen Echandia laptop bag before it was even announced. I've measured my laptops and laptop bags over and over again trying to pick a size. I've spent hours pouring over the stock leather colour and style choices and then looking that the BE Couture options. I think I've designed and discarded a dozen different bags at by now. And I bought a Dark Purple Pebbled Rock Me. A bag that didn't make me go "I need that bag" the first time I saw it. Now I can't wait until it gets here! |

I love purple, TG. It just seems like a gorgoeus, saturated color that makes everything "pop". I bet your bag will be stunning. I can't wait to see it.

^^^^oooh Rosie...You saw the light long before I did. Tell us about it! Is it slouchy and perfect? Has it puddled?
I think the lining on the stock purple pebbled Hold Me is fuschsia. What color is the hardware? Did you get messenger strap? |

It is probably my favourite bag at the moment beautifully puddled . I got silver hardware and blue lining - no messenger as I wear it over my shoulder a lot as well as hand carrying. I hope you have leather lined handles though as that makes the bag look very expensive imo. I hope Jackie is going to do that as standard from now on. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine

TropGal, we're still doing the Hold Me in pebbled root too, right?

![]() Sorry Moonfancy...but I'm out of the root pebbled Hold Me group bespoke. If we had been able to gather enough ladies sooner...it would have been a done deal...but then I discovered I "needed" this in purple pebbled...so sorry, will you forgive me? ![]() You ladies should carry on without me. I mean, I would love a root pebbled Hold Me...but I can't justify two. I think it was the "pebbled" leather that just called out my name...and then the realization that purple could be a great neutral -- a step away from my usual black and brown bags...although I do want something in root, someday. |

I think you've chosen a fantastic bag, TM, because it's so versatile and simple yet very elegant. And the leather will totally make this style.
And yes, this JUST happened to me. For me, the combination of a style and a particular color/leather can really make or break a bag. Sometimes we overlook a particular bag and then we see it in a certain leather and realize that it really is the perfect bag after all. I'm learning that I need to be open to surprises. I've been too rigid lately. Can't wait to see your lovely HM! |
