I have decided that a handbag must "happen" to me, and to not go searching. Makes it more...falling in love, instead of dating. |

TG - YES. I hear you about that statement. I think the dark purple HM just "happened" to me. Believe me I wasn't looking for a purple bag.

^^^^And what leather might that be, Tejas? While we're at it...what style? MMS? IB?

I've really been rethinking the IB. I was thinking of it purely as a laptop bag, but after seeing Jackie's pics on Twitter where she's wearing it crossbody as a regular handbag, it made me realize that this one might be a very good choice for me. I do need a laptop bag but I usually don't carry it in style as I have just a padded case, but this bag is far more versatile. And once I started imagining it in the petrol pebbled luxe (the one color I covet madly), I saw this bag in an entirely different manner.
I have always loved bags with some structure but carry hobo styles because they are comfy on the shoulder, easy to manage with kids, etc. I'm stretching out a bit now. I think the IB might be the perfect handbag that could also carry my laptop in style when necessary, too. Does that make sense? Because I've been cooped up at home all week with sick kids and I'm pretty sure that most of my good brain cells are dead now.

^^^^Everything you say makes sense. I've been thinking about the IB too. To carry my laptop when I travel...without carrying a separate laptop bag -- seems brilliant to me! Then, I can use the bag without laptop, and also, pack a smaller messenger to use if I don't want such a big bag.
Wishing you a lovely weekend. Hoping your children feel a lot better! |

^^I can see you using the IB and packing one of your Clutch Me bags or your LV small messenger in the other compartment, not to mention some supplies and a snack!
